The Messenger has garnered quite a bit of interest since it was shown during the last Nindies Showcase in March. Now thanks to a listing on the North American eShop, we have a release date. Devolver Digital will publish Sabotage’s new game later this month.

Nintendo is teaming up with Walmart on a new, exclusive bundle.

Beginning September 5, consumers will be able to pick up a package that contains a Switch system and digital download codes for Mario Tennis Aces and 1-2-Switch.

Gone Home is coming to Switch, The Fullbright Company and Annapurna Interactive have announced. The title is arriving very soon, as it should be out on August 23.

Originally released in 2013, Gone Home is an interactive exploration simulator. After returning home from a year abroad, your house is empty and your family is nowhere to be seen. Gone Home involves unraveling the mystery and finding out what happened.

Etrian Odyssey X

Etrian Odyssey X is confirmed for the west. The dungeon-crawling RPG is set to be released on February 5, 2019 in North America and Europe, Atlus announced today.

Japan just received Etrian Odyssey X on August 2. It’s the last entry in the series on 3DS.

Bandai Namco has finally provided an update on Dark Souls: Remastered. The game, along with the Solaire of Astora amiibo, will now launch October 19.

Dark Souls: Remastered was originally scheduled to hit Switch on May 25. That didn’t happen, and Bandai Namco said we’d be seeing it this summer instead. It goes without saying that this new window was unfortunately not met, as Dark Souls: Remastered will now release this fall.

Toshihiro Nagoshi has been crucial to the company having directed the Super Monkey Ball and Yakuza franchises. He was also a producer on F-Zero GX on GameCube.

This month’s issue of EDGE has an interview with Nagoshi. There was some noteworthy talk about all of these franchises and games, with Nagoshi discussing Super Monkey Ball’s creation, managing to impress Nintendo with F-Zero GX, and having pitched Yakuza to Nintendo at one point.

Night Trap - 25th Anniversary Edition

Night Trap will finally launch on a Nintendo console when the classic title graces Switch this month. The digital release is planned for August 24, according to an eShop listing.

A little while back, it was announced that the Switch version of Undertale is launching September 15 in Japan. We also heard that a collector’s edition is in the works.

Nintendo’s latest financial report reveals the latest milestone for hardware sales. Across all of its systems released since the NES, a total of 727.65 million units have been sold.

Handhelds account for a majority of Nintendo’s sales at 427.11 million. Home consoles follow at 300.54 million.
