Now that Sonic Frontiers has released, GameXplain has put together a new video comparing the visuals of the Switch PS5 versions of the game.

Obviously, the Switch version doesn’t perform as well as its next gen counterpart. Resolution is maxed out at 720p, and the framerate is capped at 30 FPS. Some textures and geometry also seem less detailed, and most noticeably, pop-in is far more common on the Switch version.

Nippon Ichi Software has provided a new look at Disgaea 7 with a second trailer for the game. The trailer focuses on showing off some of the characters and mechanics being introduced in this new entry.

Pikmin Bloom has received a new update, bringing the game to version 57.0.

The update adds the ability to share Mii Avatar photos, expands notification badge functionality and improves the design of event tasks.

A new update has released unexpectedly for Good Night, Knight, QubicGames’ medieval fantasy dungeon Crawler that released last year.

This is a substantial update, adding in several new areas, a new prologue section and improved intro sequence, new enemies, equipment, items, bosses, as well as multiple quality of life improvements and big fixes.

Ghost Song has received a new update following its recent release. This update introduces a New Game Plus feature to the game, adds a new miniboss to the map and provides the Switch version with a locked framerate.

Some new updates have just surfaced for both Capcom Arcade Stadium and Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium, Capcom’s two arcade game collections. 

Both games are receiving similar new features, such as a new Turbo shot speed mode for certain games, the ability to operate the camera with the right stick, and game settings being saved individually for each game. Savage Bees in Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium is also gaining the option to switch name entry language between English and Japanese.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes Has just received a new update, bringing the game to version 1.0.2. The update is relatively minor, focused on fixing some bugs and occasional crashes.

Ahead of its release tomorrow, Famitsu has shared some new gameplay showing off Sonic Frontiers. They’ve shared about 9 minutes of new footage for the title.

Some new events have gone live in Pokemon Masters EX. Continuing the theme of Unova-related events, a new story event centered around N, Hilda, and Hilbert and a Hugh Spotlight Scout have both been made available, as well as the Sinnoh variation of the Champion Stadium and a new Training Area Rally.

A new update for Fire Emblem Heroes has been announced, with the game’s 6.11.0 update set to arrive early next week.

The most notable additions are that the Legendary and Mythic Heroes Eliwood: Blazing Knight and Yune: Chaos Goddess will be receiving new skills to increase their viability. Additionally, you can expect the usual set of content additions, such as new Memento Events, an update to the lineup of Limited-Time Combat Manuals, new weapon skills and weapons to refine, some changes made to Summoner Duels and Aether Raids, and a couple of new characters being added to to the Heroic Grails summon pools.
