At first glance, The Legend of Legacy seems to be an amalgam of things – and it is. Legends are brought together to bring you this title in the form of Final Fantasy XIII composer Masashi Hamauzu, Chrono Trigger writer Masato Kato, SaGa illustrators and designers Tomomi Kobayashi and Kyoji Koizumi, with the inclusion of many other former developers from Square and Level-5. You can feel the influence and inspiration of The Legend of Legacy exude from all of these creators, allowing the game to thrive and revel in it artistically.

7th Dragon III Code: VFD has a new trailer out showcasing some of its battles with the Rune Knight class. Check it out!

Two brand new Splatoon weapons are releasing soon, adding to the already large assortment of weapons Splatoon has been getting since launch with each new update. This time the new weapons come in the form of the Custom Range Blaster and the Custom E-litre 3K Scope!

Capcom’s Monster Hunter X is releasing not too far from now in Japan, and with that comes two brand new 3DS themes! Check them out below:

A couple of months ago, Nintendo had made the announcement that it would be updating Miiverse with a new look and brand new features to make it feel more sociable and really have a focus on user-created content across 3DS and Wii U. We saw new additions such as the ability to create Play Journals, the ability to create little notes and screenshots based on your experiences and talk a bit about them, Screenshot Albums, a great way to sort and organize photos you’ve taken in games you post to Miiverse, and tons more. The website got some added features also, but it looked fairly the same. Today, suddenly, Miiverse gets a huge overhaul, and it’s gorgeous.

Head on over to Miiverse on the web to check out the brand new layout for yourself!

What do you think about the brand new look? Is it to your liking? Let us know in the comments below!

Nintendo’s upcoming collaboration with ATLUS brings the awesome Fire Emblem and Shin Megami Tensei crossover we’ve all been waiting for. As we get closer to the Japanese release, we’ll be seeing more and more of the game, and Nintendo has just released a brand new trailer showing off a bit of the story for the upcoming title. The trailer also features its “debut single” which will ostensibly be released sometime in the future to promote the game even further. Check out the brand new trailer below!

Update: The website was updated – it now looks like this: smt teaser website 2

ATLUS has tweeted something very mysterious in regards to the Shin Megami Tensei series. The official website for Shin Megami Tensei IV has now been updated with a gigantic question mark with text that translates to,  “In 15,000 tweets, a disaster will begin”.

What could this possibly mean? We may have a new Shin Megami Tensei game on the horizon, but the announcement will come quicker if we help get the message out there!

If you’re on Twitter and want to help ATLUS reach 15,000 tweets to reveal the mysterious new title, head to the site and click on the question mark! Alternatively, you can just click here to tweet it out.

Nintendo’s free-to-play Pokémon title that came to the 3DS eShop earlier this year is now receiving a retail release in Japan on November 19th.

The retail version of Pokémon Rumble World will grant you a code for the game, all 3,000 PokéDiamonds you can normally receive in-game, and various discounts. Pokémon Rumble World will cost 37,000¥.

Seeing as the retail copy will only grant you a code for the game and not a physical cartridge, one could imagine that these will simply be put up as cards in stores which you take to the register to be activated. So far no word on whether the retail version of Pokémon Rumble World will be getting the same treatment to regions elsewhere.

A brand new update is now up for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS following its maintenance, and with it comes a new batch of DLC.

We’ve known for a while now that the brand new Super Mario Maker stage would be making its way to Super Smash Bros. as downloadable content, but also included in today’s update is a stage making its return from Super Smash Bros. Brawl – the Pirate Ship stage.

Along with the brand new Pirate Ship stage – which is available as DLC exclusively on Wii U – the Duck Hunt stage from the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros. is now making its way over to the 3DS version.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a proper update without more Mii Fighter costumes. Included in the brand new update and DLC are seven brand new Mii Fighter costumes, which are:

  • Business Suit
  • Fox Set (StarFox) (Gunner)
  • Captain Falcon’s Outfit (Brawler)
  • Toad (Brawler)
  • Viridi Set – Kid Icarus (Sword Fighter)
  • Hunter Set – Monster Hunter (Sword Fighter)

As usual with the Mii Fighter costumes, you can buy them individually or as a bundle for a discounted price.

Here’s the breakdown:

Super Mario Maker stage

3DS – $2.49
Wii U – $2.49
3DS/Wii U – $3.49

Pirate Ship stage

Wii U – $1.99

Mii Fighters

3DS – $0.75
Wii U – $0.75
3DS/Wii U – $1.15

Be sure to download the new update if it isn’t done automatically when you boot up the game to gain access to all of today’s new content.
