Koei Tecmo has shared another brief look at a Bond Conversation in Fire Emblem Warriors, this time between Corrin and Xander. Give it a watch:

Update: Name for this new stage in English is “Shifty Station”.

Original: Splatoon 2’s first Splatfest is this weekend and it seems like it’ll be something special: a new stage called “Twilight Zone” will be available during it, alongside some of the regular stages. At the moment, it seems like this stage will only be playable while the Splatfest lasts and won’t be added to the regular map rotation afterwards.

Like many other companies, Capcom also recently released its latest financial results. In the earnings report for the first quarter of the fiscal year, Capcom also touched on Ultra Street Fighter II for the Switch – the report calls the game a “smash hit” and said that it “made an excellent start”. Concrete sales figures were not provided.

While these are rather vague statements, they are positive, so apparently the game has performed to Capcom’s satisfaction. Hopefully this means more support from them for the Switch.

Nintendo of France has uploaded a video of the full Master Class – The Art of the Legend of Zelda Series panel from Japan Expo to Youtube. Eiji Aonuma (producer), Eiji Nakano (illustrator) and Satoru Takizawa (art director) talked about what it was like creating the art of Breath of the Wild and several other Zelda games. Note that the panel was held in French (and Japanese), so you’ll have to understand either of those two languages to get the full experience out of this.

Another new weapon will be added to Splatoon 2 tomorrow, July 29th. The Dual Squelcher from the first game has been reimagined as a Dualies-style weapon – the Dualie Squelchers. Just like with the Splat Dualies, you’ll also be able to use dodge rolls with this weapon. The Dualie Squelchers will come with the Point Sensor sub weapon and the Tenta Missiles special weapon.

Dragon Quest XI will be released in Japan on Friday, but that isn’t stopping Weekly Jump magazine from releasing some new info on the game.

There will be a special type of enemy in the game called reincarnated monsters. As their name implies, they have been reborn and thus look different than their regular counterparts. They might have a different color scheme or other distinguishing features. It’s not all about their appearance though – these monsters are also pretty rare. Hunting them down for special quests given to you by NPCs can net you some great rewards though.

Heikki Repo, Creative Director of Oceanhorn developer Cornfox & Brothers, recently talked to Gearnuke about Oceanhorn and the Switch in general. Here’s what he had to say about developing for the system:

Oceanhorn was first released on mobile hardware, so it was very flexible game to port for mobile based Nintendo Switch. I see bright future for Nintendo Switch, as it has a support for Unreal Engine 4 for example and we are currently spearheading the mobile development on UE4 with Oceanhorn 2.
It depends on indie developer. Some indie developers don’t care much about saving resources, but it is everything for us as we are developing for mobile first (or parallel development), so our games have been optimized right from the beginning. This way we can add stuff for higher-end platforms later on. Nintendo Switch is already couple of years old hardware (NVIDIA Tegra X1), so latest iOS devices that we use for development are already more powerful than Switch. But developing mobile first helps and Oceanhorn 2 is going to look great on Switch, when the time comes!
So there you have it. Oceanhorn 2 is currently in development for mobile devices, but it looks like porting it to the Switch won’t be much of an issue for the developers.

A new patch for Minecraft on Switch releasing soon contains one pretty significant change: the game now allows for a resolution of 1080p to be output when the Switch is docked. Previously, the limit, even when docked, was 720p.
