Square Enix’s TGS 2022 lineup

Square Enix has detailed its lineup for the 2022 Tokyo Game Show, which has been revealed by a press release for the event outlining games that will be featured at the show.
The company will have quite a few upcoming Switch titles for the event. Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion, Harvetstella, Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song Remastered, and Dragon Quest X Offline are among them.

DoDonPachi Resurrection Switch physical release detailed, including collector’s edition

Limited Run Games announced a physical release of DoDonPachi Resurrection on Switch in June, but didn’t share any details. Today, however, the company has followed up with specifics.
DoDonPachi Resurrection will be sold in three different versions: standalone, the Steelbook Edition, and Collector’s Edition. Each copy of the Collector’s Edition includes the game, slipcover, steelbook, chiptune arrangement album, and a 18″ x 24″ poster.

A notable 1.1.3 update has just gone out for Souldiers on Switch.
One of the major highlights is a new “Master” difficulty level. On top of that, the game has received balance adjustments and a slew of bug fixes.

Steel Empire making the jump to Switch

Steel Empire, which landed on 3DS nearly a decade ago, is now seeing a release on Switch. Mebius has announced that it’s preparing a port of the side-scrolling shoot ’em up game for 2023.
Steel Empire actually saw its initial launch on the SEGA Genesis in 1992. It later ended up on the Game Boy Advance, 3DS, and then Steam. The Switch version should be based on the PC release, which was an updated version of the 3DS remake.

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk delayed to Summer 2023

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk has been delayed, with Team Reptile just announcing that it’s pushing the project back to Summer 2023.
The game was first confirmed for Switch last August. Team Reptile was originally intending to have it wrapped up this year and launch it as a timed console exclusive. However, extra time will be used to make ” a fulfilling and unique game”.

NIS America Showcase 2022 announced for September 7

NIS America will host the NIS America Showcase 2022 on September 7, the company just announced. The event will air at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET / 4 PM in the UK / 5 PM in Europe.
In terms of what to expect, NIS America has confirmed four new game announcements. That’s along with various updates plus an exclusive livestream post-showcase that will take a deep dive into the showcase contents.

You Suck at Parking out on Switch in 2023, physical version happening, new trailer

Happy Volcano has provided a release window update for You Suck at Parking, its new top-down racer. Although it will initially debut on September 1, the title won’t be on Switch until 2023.
It’s also been announced that FireShine Games is readying a physical version. Just like the digital release, it’s planned for 2023.
