Steven Universe: Save the Light

According to a listing on VideoGamesPlus, a Steven Universe & OK KO Bundle is coming to Switch. The retailer does not offer any specifics aside from a tentative October 30 release date and $49.99 CDN price point.

Despite the lack of details, we have a pretty good idea as to what this listing entails. Steven Universe: Save the Light came out late last year. OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes, another Cartoon Network-based game, then launched this past January. It’s possible that both are heading to Switch in a new bundle at retail.

Level-5 issued a new batch of details and screenshots for Inazuma Eleven Ares. We have more information on the soccer matches as well as the toy link system. We’ve rounded everything up below, courtesy of Gematsu.

Jackbox Games has announced the next game for The Jackbox Party Pack 5. It’s called Mad Verse City in which you can “write sick rhymes”, listen to your MC avatar “rap the bars you write out loud”, and more.

Here’s the full overview:

Death Squared came out one year ago on Switch. During that period, developer SMG Studio says that the game has sold 52,000 copies on Nintendo’s console.

SMG further adds that the team is “making more revenue, a year in, than we did when we launched on the other consoles. And for our first console game happy to say we’re profitable on it, its opened up many other opportunities, we earned new fans, learned a bunch of stuff and made new contacts for future projects.”

Mega Man X Legacy Collection boxart

Capcom is putting out Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 + 2 this month. If you find the games too difficult, you’ll be happy to hear that a Rookie Hunter / Easy Mode is included. It can be toggled in-game as well as in the main menu.

When the mode is enabled, the damage taken will be reduced by half. Also, in X4 to X8, you won’t have to deal with insta-deaths from spikes and bottomless pits.

Amazon has just opened pre-orders for the Smash Bros. Ultimate version of the Inkling amiibo. You can reserve it here.

Octopath Traveler

It’ll be a few days until we have a truly good idea as to how Octopath Traveler is selling in Japan. When Media Create publishes its next report on Wednesday, first week data for the RPG will be revealed.

We do at least have one encouraging tidbit from Square Enix directly. On the official Twitter account, an apology was posted for the game selling out, which is happening during a three-day weekend. Square Enix recommends considering the digital version to fans who are looking for a copy.
