The Tower of Permanence is in the works for Switch, //commentout has announced. It will be playable at TGS 2017 later this month.

Essentially, The Tower of Permanence is an action game. You’ll be tasked with climbing a tower filled with different traps and enemies. Since the inside of the tower is procedurally generated, you’ll have a new tower to take on each day. Also fleshing out the experience are daily challenges that let you compete for the highest score with other players. You can also leave a dying message on your grave for others to see when they die.

We’ve included a couple of trailers for The Tower of Permanence below.

It’s Wednesday, which means another item distribution is available for Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Switch. Director Hidemaro Fujibayashi has delivered a new message to those who are subscribed to the official news channel. The Emblazoned Shield is the distribution this time around.

Also, it has a secondary effect that eliminates field effects such as Terrain.

Additionally, it’s confirmed that Rockruff can only evolve into Dusk Form between 5 PM and 5:59 PM after level 25. The pre-evolution special Rockruff also has the ability Own Tempo.

It’s not entirely unexpected, but most of the coverage surrounding Fire Emblem Warriors has pertained to the Switch version. The New 3DS version hasn’t been completely forgotten though.

In Japan, the pre-load option for Fire Emblem Warriors on New 3DS has started via the eShop. The game takes up 16,811 blocks of space. In other words, that’s 2.05GB.

We also have screenshots from the New 3DS version of Fire Emblem Warriors below. This is actually one of the first times we’re seeing the game on the handheld (especially with the bottom screen), as it was only shown briefly during the original announcement earlier this year.
