StreetPass Mii Plaza distributions in North America and the UK involve Takashi Tezuka, Shigeru Miyamoto

Super Mario Run is less than a week away from debuting on iOS. To celebrate, Nintendo has a couple of activities going on with the StreetPass Mii Plaza.
In North America, Takashi Tezuka is appearing as a visitor if you have SpotPass enabled. Over in the UK, Shigeru Miyamoto’s Mii can be found at Nintendo Zone found within GAME stores between December 9 and December 26. Tezuka will then follow between December 27 and January 15. There’s a good chance that Miyamoto’s Mii will stop by in North America as well.

Shigeru Miyamoto was seen wearing a new shirt featuring Mario, who is donned in samurai gear, during his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Harmless, right? You would think so, but there’s apparently something going on there.
Nintendo’s Bill Trinen started the speculation train after he wrote the following on Twitter:

The shirt could be related to Super Mario Run. On the other hand, many believe it could have something to do with the upcoming Mario title for Switch. It’s worth noting that the kanji on Miyamoto’s shirt signifies “ran” (or “run”).

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero’s retail version launches on December 27

WayForward previously announced that Shantae: Half-Genie Hero would be launching on December 20. The retail version will follow one week later on December 27, XSEED Games announced today.
Shantae: Half-Genie Hero is coming to retail as the “Risky Beats Edition”. It includes a copy of the game along with a musical selections CD containing 30 songs from the soundtrack.

The latest episode of Pokemon Generations is now live on the official Pokemon YouTube channel. We’ve gone ahead and attached it below.
Pokemon Generations revisits each generation of the Pokemon games and sheds new light on some timeless moments. New episodes will be available weekly through December 23.

Inchvilles trailer, pricing for figures, crowdfunding campaign open

Moragami has prepared the trailer trailer for Inchvilles, its new 3D-printed toys-to-life game for 3DS (and potentially Switch as well). You can view it below.
The trailer provides a look at gameplay and also reveals pricing for figures. They’ll be $13.99 / £11 / €13 each, with international shipping costing set at $9.99.
Moragami is seeking $90,000 to have Inchvilles ready by December 2017. You can pledge your support and find more details about the project on the official website here.

The latest issue of MCV has a listing of the best-selling games in the UK for the month of November. The results are posted below, based on data collected between October 30 and November 26.
As far as physical software sales by platform goes, here are the results:
