Breakout Defense hitting the European Wii U eShop on December 15

Plenty of digital European release dates have been reported today, so it should hardly come as a surprise that yet another titles is now scheduled for the eShop. The action game Breakout Defense from nuGAME will be coming to Wii U on December 15.

Target selling exclusive Pokemon Sun/Moon Dual Pack with starter figures

North American retailers are offering all sorts of bundle packs. Amazon has the steelbook, and Best Buy/GameStop are selling a standard version with two codes that unlock 100 Poke Balls each.
Now on launch day, Target is selling an exclusive Dual Pack of its own. Copies include figures of the starters Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio. Place an order here if interested.

Eiji Aonuma wins Lifetime Achievement Award at 2016 Golden Joysticks

Last year, late Nintendo president Satoru Iwata was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Golden Joysticks. Another important staffer at the company was given the same honor today: Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma.
Aonuma wasn’t in attendance, but he did deliver a thoughtful pre-recorded speech. We have it in full below.
Aside from Aonuma’s award, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess was selected as the best Nintendo game of the year while Pokemon GO picked up a win as the best handheld/mobile title as well as Innovation of the Year.
