English Miitomo site now shows March 2016 launch notice again
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Mobile, News | 19 Comments
Towards the end of last week, those who visited the English Miitomo site noticed that the page had removed its mention of the planned March 2016 launch. This discovery had some people concerned that the app had been delayed in the west, and wouldn’t be available by the end of this week as originally planned.
As far as we know, Miitomo should still be coming out in territories outside of Japan within the next few days. The English Miitomo site now has the original notice about it arriving in March. It’s unclear why it was removed in the first place, but this news should mean that everything is still on track.

Hyrule Warriors and Hyrule Warriors Legends – Marin’s weapon could be the Sea Lily’s Bell
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News, Wii U | 5 Comments
During a panel at WonderCon last night, Marin was revealed as a new DLC character for the Link’s Awakening Pack in both Hyrule Warriors and Hyrule Warriors Legends. A slightly different look at the art was snapped at the event, which may reveal her primary weapon.
An image that looks a whole lot like the Sea Lily’s Bell is included in Marin’s original WonderCon artwork. Why was it removed in the image Nintendo posted on its Twitter account? I have no idea. But in any case, I can’t see what that can be other than the Sea Lily’s Bell. And given the inclusion in the art, that could very well be Marin’s primary weapon.
For those that are curious, in Link’s Awakening, the Sea Lily’s Bell is one of eight instruments you find that are collectively known as the Eight Instruments of the Sirens. These are needed to awaken the Wind Fish.
Defend Your Crypt being made for Wii U and 3DS
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, News, Wii U eShop | 2 Comments
Ratalaika Games has announced yet another game for Wii U and 3DS. At some point in the future, Defend Your Crypt will be coming to the two platforms as an eShop title.
Defend Your Crypt is a puzzle-strategy game where players take control of a pharaoh to
protect his gold from grave robbers. They’ll need to use a variety of traps in order to take down enemies and avoid being robbed. Players can look forward to an Egyptian-inspired, retro pixel art style.
Here’s a rundown of features:
– Trap variety: The game will contain classic traps such as open platforms, which can make robbers
fall onto spikes, and also water traps or killer scorpions and beetles.
– Levels: A large number of levels to make sure the robbers will not steal any of your gold, and you
enjoy the game to the fullest. A lot of time can be spent on finishing all of them!
– Robbers with feelings: No robbers are heartless. Throughout the game, players will see robbers
in different moods, and they will also interact with each other a little bit. Seeing a hallway full of
blood could make a robber sad and break his heart.
At the moment, while Defend Your Crypt remains in development, any sort of release timeframe has not been announced.
