Nintendo is changing Tomodachi Life for its western release. There aren’t many drastic overhauls, but there are some modifications in place to better suit the game’s new audience.

As for what’s changed, Nintendo of America’s Bill Trinen told GameSpot:

We know Mega Man Xtreme 2 is coming soon to the Virtual Console, and the game’s recent OFLC rating further points to its upcoming release. Capcom should be putting the game out on the 3DS eShop in the near future. Starting on May 1, a bunch of new Mega Man titles will begin hitting the Virtual Console.

On Twitter a little while ago, Saturnine Games shared an update about the status of Turtle Tale.

The 3DS version of the game has now been approved by Nintendo of America. It’s still awaiting approval in Europe though.

Saturnine is also continuing development of Turtle Tale on Wii U, which is “progressing well.” It could be submitted to lot check by the end of the month.

Saturnine hopes to see Turtle Tale out in mid/late May. Pricing will be under $5.
