A few new details have come in for Yoshi’s Island. You can find a roundup of the latest information below.
– Baby Mario is in need of help of finding Baby Luigi
– There are plenty of Yoshis, distinguishable only by color
– All Yoshis jump across platforms
– Yoshi can also stomp on enemies and eat them using its tongue
– Can then lay an egg which is useful as a weapon
– “Mega Eggdozers” can be launched in a variety of strategic directions laying waste to huge swathes of landscape, and picking up all those stars, flowers and other useful goodies that are strewn about the world
– Directing the large egg correctly is important
– 3D backgrounds
– Yoshi can transform into different vehicles including a mine-cart or a helicopter
– Yoshi can also go off on little time challenges making use of tilt controls
– These challenges have a lot of bonuses and goodies

Renegade Kid reveals Moon Chronicles for 3DS

Renegade Kid has pulled back the curtain on Moon Chronicles, its new first-person shooter for the 3DS eShop.
Here’s what we know about the game, courtesy of IGN’s report:
– Episodic model
– Season one is a remake of the original DS game
– Pricing structure:
Episode 1: $8.99 (contains chapters 1 – 4 + 6 VR Missions: ~4 hours of gameplay).
Episode 2 (as DLC): $1.99 (contains chapters 5 – 8: ~2 hours of gameplay).
Episode 3 (as DLC): $1.99 (contains chapters 9 – 12: ~2 hours of gameplay).
Episode 4 (as DLC): $1.99 (contains chapters 13 – 16: ~2 hours of gameplay).
– Second season will likely come next year
– This will feature brand new content that takes place after the original

Bravely Second will have a subtitle

Bravely Default’s original Japanese release came with a meaningful “Flying Fairy” subtitle. Just like its predecessor, Bravely Second will also have a subtitle as part of its final name. Producer Tomoya Asano confirmed the news to Famitsu, but didn’t reveal a specific name.

Target will have Super Mario 3D World for $40 starting on February 2

Target will be discounting Super Mario 3D World fairly heavily in about a week. Starting on February 2, the game is getting a $20 discount, bringing its price down to $40. The sale will last until February 8.

Ubisoft keeping quiet on Watch Dogs Wii U cancellation rumor

Ubisoft isn’t saying whether it has cancelled the Wii U version of Watch Dogs. When asked about the recent speculation, a spokesperson told CVG, “We have nothing to comment at the moment.”
GameStop Italy is said to be telling customers that Watch Dogs has been canned, based on supposed information from Ubisoft. But on the bright side, it’s available for pre-order on the retailer’s website.
