Game Freak’s Junichi Masuda to attend E3 2016

Is it too early to be talking about E3 2016? Maybe. But there’s one tweet from Game Freak’s Junichi Masuda that already has Pokemon fans excited about what could be featured at the expo.
Organizers of Desucon from Finland wanted to invite Masuda to their event. However, considering that it’s very close to E3, after discussing it with The Pokemon Company International, he won’t be able to attend. In other words, Masuda prioritizes E3, so he can’t go to that Desucon given how the timeframe between the two is very close.

Fire Emblem 0’s sixth series to feature FE Fates: Revelation and Genealogy of the Holy War

Fire Emblem 0 (Cipher) was featured during a new Niconico live stream earlier today. In it, more was shared about the fourth, fifth, and sixth series of cards.
Images from each of these series are in the gallery below. The sixth one is probably the most notable, as we’re hearing about it for the first time. Adean and Levin from Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War are just two of the cards included in the sixth round. This new series will also have cards from Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation.

Puzzle & Dragons X – anime and manga happening, two versions for the game

Information coming out of this month’s CoroCoro reveals that an anime based on Puzzle & Dragons X is in the works. The series will begin airing this summer. Along with an anime, a manga adaptation from Momota Inoue is in the works, which will debut in CoroCoro’s May issue (shipping in April).
As far as the game goes, Puzzle & Dragons X will be available in Japan this summer. Two versions are planned: “Kami no Sh?” (God Chapter) and “Ry? no Sh?” (Dragon Chapter). Puzzle & Dragons X’s theme is “evolution” and will also feature cooperative play with friends in a cross battle. The game’s protagonist is Ace and his partner Tamaz?. Staff behind the anime will also animate the game’s opening anime.

A trio of amiibo can now be pre-ordered from the Nintendo UK store. The lineup includes Roy, Ryu, and Famicom R.O.B. Each one is located here.
Pokemon Centers in Japan to begin selling Splatoon T-shirts based on the new Splatfest

Next weekend, Pokemon Centers in Japan will begin selling special Splatoon T-shirts based on the upcoming Splatfest. Designs for Red (Charizard) and Green (Venusaur) are due out on February 20.

Just to reiterate from the previous post, North America and Europe’s Splatfest is Red vs. Blue. In Japan, it’s Red vs. Green.
Pokemon – Volcanion and the Ingenious Magiana movie poster

We have another look at Magiana thanks to a poster for the upcoming Pokemon movie. As mentioned earlier today, the creature will star in Volcanion and the Ingenious Magiana.
Here’s an overview of the film:
“As Ash and his friends continue their journey, Volcanion drops down from the sky in front of them. Volcanion’s object is to recover Magiana, who has been abducted by the “Azoth Kingdom”, a city of super-machinery. However, Volcanion and Ash have become linked together by a strange (?????). Will the two of them manage to work together and save Magiana?”
First look at new Pokemon Magiana

The first shot of Magiana – a brand new Pokemon – has emerged. Get a look at it above.
Magiana is classified as a Man-Made Pokemon. It has a metallic body, with text stating that it was ‘made by human hands’. The Pokemon was created over 500 years ago. No word on its type. Volcanion is chasing Magiana – only it knows Magiana’s secret.
Magiana will be featured in the upcoming movie “Volcanion and the Exquisite Magiana”.
Pokemon sprite merchandise to be sold in Japan starting February 27

In celebration of the franchise’s 20th anniversary, various Pokemon merchandise featuring sprites will be going on sale in Japan later this month. Pokemon Centers and Amazon Japan will be offering shirts, hats, stickers, and plenty more starting on February 27.

Chibi-Robo amiibo for under $5 on Amazon
