Nintendo “tried for months” to make the Humble Nindie Bundle global
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 15 Comments
A surprising Humble Bundle sale kicked off earlier today. Nintendo made history as the first company to have games from its systems represented, which is made up of various indie titles. The bundle is an absolute steal, and you have to commend Nintendo on making it happen. There is, however, one notable downside: codes are only valid for those with North American Wii U and 3DS systems.
Based on a comment from Nintendo’s Damon Baker, it sounds like the lack of European support wasn’t entirely the company’s fault. Baker wrote on Twitter that he “tried for months to make it global”. In the future, he believes that they’ll be able to have Europe included in the sale.
@Jason_Lepine @seven5three Yep, it's only a @NintendoAmerica deal. Tried for months to make it global but we'll get there eventually!

Rumor: New Skylanders game to be called “Superchargers”, will feature vehicles
Posted on 9 years ago by Matt(@OnePunchMaz) in General Nintendo, News, Rumors | 0 comments
We’ve already reported on the news that the next Skylanders game will feature vehicles thanks to some leaks, and now we’ve got some more evidence backing that up.
A couple of weeks ago, American motorsports competitor Travis Pastrana reportedly wrote the following Instagram post: “Was filming some cool stuff for a new Activision game called Skylanders Superchargers this weekend”. The post has since been deleted. Makes sense that a motorsports star would be involved with a game featuring vehicles, right?
While it’s obviously not an official confirmation yet, it does seem pretty likely that the next Skylanders game will feature vehicles of some kind.
