Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions

Bandai Namco has released another trailer for Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions today, this one highlighting the Netherlands Junior Youth team.

Ninjala

Ninjala fans will be able to purchase the game’s story mode when it launches later this month, the latest issue of CoroCoro confirms.

Based on a previous datamine, the story move involves fending off the attacks of invading space ninja. If what was found in the files holds true, you’ll be playing as Van, who has a mentor called Master Gramps. CoroCoro says there will be battles, characters, and stories that can only be accessed through this mode.

In Japan, the story mode will be offered as DLC for 1,100 yen. However, it’ll have a discount and will be sold for 495 yen for a limited time.

Bandai Namco unveiled a new launch trailer for their upcoming collections of arcade classics, Namco Museum Archives: Volume 1 and 2, which arrive on Switch in the west this month. Check out the video below.

Biped

Biped was originally thought to be reaching Switch back in May. While that didn’t end up happening, Next Studios and Meta Publishing have now announced a new, final release date of July 2.

Super Punch-Out!!

During a live stream on Niconico today, Hamster unveiled its latest plans for the Arcade Archives series.

First, two more Nintendo games have been revealed: Super Punch-Out!! and VS. Baseball. Neither one has a release date yet, but both should be arriving in the weeks and months ahead.

It’s also been announced that Seibu Kaihatsu is joining the Arcade Archives series. The company’s first games will be Wiz, Zero Team, and Raiden. Again, there are no release dates just yet.

Outright Games and Coatsink have announced Transformers: Battlegrounds, and it’s coming to Switch later this year.
