Mortal Kombat 11 has been updated on Switch. We don’t have the word on the version number, but we do have the patch notes.

Over on the official series Twitter account, the team behind Saints Row: The Third – The Full Package have been answering fan questions. Various details have been shared including confirmation that Nintendo Switch Online is supported for voice chat, details on frame rate / resolution, and more.

It wasn’t mentioned in the weekly Nintendo Download report, but The Little Acre released on Switch this week. The adventure game, which features hand-drawn animation, is out now on the eShop.

Earlier in the week, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was updated to version 1.6.0. As we know, the main highlight was the addition of Nintendo Labo VR Kit support. However, that apparently wasn’t all, as we’re hearing that performance was improved.
Entering Shrines appears to have received a noticeable improvement. Comparisons indicate that loading was reduced by as much as five seconds.

Sakurai talks original Smash Bros. prototypes, overcoming “cheap” perception, overseas reviews in classic interview

Shmuplations has translated an interview with Super Smash Bros. director Masahiro Sakurai. But rather than a recently-published interview, the site went back into the archives of Nice Games magazine from 1999, in which Sakurai discussed the original N64 game and more.
There are a few interesting comments here, such as talk about the original prototypes for Smash Bros. and how it could have been an action-adventure game. Sakurai also talked about having to overcome the perception that it would be “cheap”, and being upset with some of the overseas reviews.
Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp now offering DJ KK’s beat booth, where DJ KK will appear

Starting today, DJ KK’s beat booth is now available in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. If you place it at your campsite or cabin, DJ KK will sometimes drop by.
DJ KK’s beat booth can be ordered from the Special-Available for a Limited Time section of the Craft menu. It can be crafted with 350 Leaf Tickets. This will be available until June 26.
Fire Emblem: Three Houses introduces Sothis

Over on the official Japanese Fire Emblem Twitter account, Sothis from Fire Emblem: Three Houses is introduced. She’s voiced by Tomoyo Kurosawa in the Japanese version.
Sothis is a mysterious girl who appears in the hero’s dream. She saves the protagonist using her powers to remind time. After this happens, they are able to communicate as if she was in his head. However, only the protagonist can see her. Sothis lost her memories, and although she may look like a little girl, she speaks more like an old woman.
