Netflix has finally announced a premiere date for Castlevania’s second season. The animated series will return on October 26 worldwide.

As we’ve heard previously, the new season will contain eight episodes. That’s double the amount of season one.

Though Netflix has yet to speak about it officially, Castlevania should be back for a third season as well down the road.

During a panel at Anime Expo today, Zero Escape creator Kotako Uchikoshi finally revealed his newest game. It’s been announced as AI: The Sominum Files, a detective adventure title set in modern Tokyo in which you investigate the mystery behind a series of murders.

Skullgirls 2nd Encore

Skullgirls 2nd Encore is coming to Switch, Lab Zero Games revealed during a panel at Anime Expo today. The studio is also working on Indivisible, which is launching on Switch in 2019.

Earlier this week, Taito announced Darius Cozmic Collection. The package has several side-scrolling arcade shooters, including Darius, Darius II, Sagaia, and Darius Gaiden.

Taito intends to offer a limited edition in Japan, and we have a look at the contents above. It features the Darius Arrange CD, Materials Book, and Miniature Acrylic Marquee.

Did you know that Rare once had a Battletoads game in the works for Game Boy? Former Rare staffer Paul Machacek revealed that information to RareFanDaBase, who said that it was a spinoff of an arcade name of the same name. Despite being totally finished, it was cancelled due to the arcade title underperforming.

Much like Minecraft, Psyonix is focusing on what it currently has with Rocket League as opposed to making a sequel.

In an interview with GameSpot, director Scott Rudi essentially stated that Rocket League 2 won’t be coming anytime soon. Rudi brought up wanting to “do more to expand the existing Rocket League”, and he’s unsure what a sequel would offer.

Dragon Marked for Death

Neverout

Two years have passed since the global phenomenon Pokémon GO launched, and Niantic have announced a couple of additions to the game for this milestone. 

Pikachu and Pichu will appear more frequently tomorrow (July 6) until the end of the month, and a special “Summer Style” Pikachu can be obtained, complete with a straw hat and sunglasses. Additionally, Pikachu Fan Avatar items will be available for purchase for trainers with a gold Pikachu Fan medal.

The team also hinted at Celebi being available globally in the near future, but no additional details were given there.
