Pokemon GO is bringing back its Water Festival later today. Starting at 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET / 9 PM in the UK / 10 PM in Europe, Water-type Pokemon will appear more frequently. Some Trainers may even encounter a rare Shiny Shellder for the very first time. Field Research tasks highlighting Water-type Pokemon will be live as well.

During the Water Festival, you’ll be able to earn 3x Stardust for catching Water-type Pokemon. 2 km Eggs will hatch Pokemon such as Totodile, Mudkip, and Corphish as well. For each Egg hatched, you can earn Double Candy and Stardust.

Lastly, Raid Battles will feature powerful Water-type Pokemon, including the return of Kyogre. You may encounter its Shiny form if you prevail while battling the Legendary Pokemon.

Kalypso Media and Somasim have announced Project Highrise: Architect’s Edition for consoles. A release is planned for Switch, where the game will be available this fall.

Project Highrise: Architect’s Edition will be Kalypso’s first Switch title. In the game, you’ll take on the role of an architect and developer as you build world-famous skyscrapers. Every decision, both big and small, will depend on your actions, including coordinating construction, pleasant tenants, and more. The “Architect’s Edition” will feature extra DLC.

Muddledash is due out for Switch on July 10, PQube and slampunks have announced.

Pre-orders will go live on June 12. By pre-loading, you’ll be able to save 10%. Muddledash will launch at $5.39 / €4.99 / £4.79.

A big content update has gone live for Nine Parchments on Switch. The Astral Challenges patch is comprised of six new Arena levels, the unlockable character Selius, new Quick Chat feature, and more.

Hamster held one of its regular live streams on Niconico today. During the broadcast, the company announced the next slate of NeoGeo titles planned for Switch.

The Last Blade 2, Money Idol Exchanger, The Super Spy, and League Bowling are next up. No release dates yet, but they should be launching sequentially over the next few weeks. 

Konami has another update in store for Super Bomberman R. Sometime in the future, the game will be adding an exclusive Switch character named Max.

Mario Tennis Aces

A short while ago, Nintendo released a new Mario Tennis Aces trailer featuring Rafael Nadal. It’s that video which reveals some upcoming functionality for the game.

In September, local wireless between multiple Switch systems in Swing Mode will be possible. This will be added with a software update scheduled for September.

GRIP

Wired Productions and Caged Element have determined a slightly more specific release window for GRIP. The futuristic arcade combat racer is launching on Switch this fall.

GRIP features members of the original team behind the classic arcade combat racer Rollcage. The game looks to offer “a true, wheel-gripping racing experience – where utter destruction serves one true purpose: be the first to cross the finish line.”
