Over the past few months in particular, some have said that discoverability has started to become a problem on the Switch eShop. Nintendo has started to address that with a new addition on the store.

Just a short while ago, a new section was added in under the “Featured” name. Here Nintendo is able to highlight upcoming content, recent releases, and past titles you may not have known about.

Footage is in showing off One Strike on the Switch. Take a look at the gameplay below:

NBA 2K19 is coming to Switch, new retail marketing material has revealed. It seems that we’re on track for a September launch, just like last year. Those who purchase the game’s 20th Anniversary Edition will be able to play four days early.

The NBA 2K franchise returned to Nintendo platforms after being on hiatus for several years. Once 2K Sports published NBA 2K13 on Wii U back in 2012, that was it until last year’s comeback on Switch.

PowerA is creating some new GameCube-styled controllers for Switch. Over on Reddit, user Mew_The_Creator says that he’s seen some new designs that have been delivered to the facility where he works. He adds that “Nintendo sent them to our facility to produce product layout for stores so the actual controllers aren’t in there, but the product is confirmed.”

PowerA is also producing some new controllers with Mario designs – see below.

No word yet on when these controllers will be launching, but stay tuned.

Team Colorblind indicated last year that Aztez would probably release on Switch instead of Wii U. That has been made official, with the developer confirming plans for Nintendo’s current system officially. Console versions are in the works, including Switch.

Aztez is a beat ’em up set in the world of the Aztec Empire. Find some additional information and a trailer below.

Mega Man 11

Capcom had a ton of news to share about Mega Man 11 last week. The company announced an October 2 release date, unveiled a new amiibo, and more.

Mega Man 11 will be offered at retail in North America as well as in Japan. But in Europe, the situation is much different. Capcom has confirmed that Mega Man 11 is only planned as a digital title in PAL regions. As for the amiibo, there is currently “no announcement” for Europe.

Pocket Rumble

The release of Pocket Rumble on Switch has been a long time coming. It was originally over a year ago, way back during the first Nindies Showcase.

After a lengthy delay, Pocket Rumble’s Switch version is finally complete. It has passed Nintendo’s internal check systems. We’ll be seeing it before the end of July.

Nintendo has a special promotion planned for the Splatoon 2 World Championship. Starting on the evening of June 7, players will be able to obtain a related t-shirt in game. Further information will be sent out through the Switch news channel.

Also, if you’re attending the Splatoon 2 World Championship in-person, you’ll be able to receive an exclusive t-shirt.
