Owlboy supports video capture on Switch

Owlboy will be out tomorrow in most regions around the world. But in Japan, it’s available right now.
Nintendo Everything reader m_t purchased the game, and tells us that video capture is supported. That means you can record 30-second gameplay videos similar to some other titles on Switch. Thankfully, this is built in, and we won’t have to wait for a future patch to make the functionality available.

Ubisoft is Switch’s leading third-party publisher, thanks to Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle

Ubisoft reported its Q3 2017-18 financial results today. In its report, the company said it’s the console’s leading third-party publisher. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle ranks as the top-selling third-party title on Switch.
Switch accounted for 6% of Ubisoft’s sales for the latest financial period (Q3). For the nine-month period of 2017/18, that number was at 8%.

Mercenaries Saga Chronicles will be updated to fix a bug

Circle Entertainment has been made aware of a bug within Mercenaries Saga Chronicles, which will be addressed through an upcoming patch. The issue is related to characters getting stuck after opening a chest once players have learned a particular skill.
Earlier today, Circle provided the following message to its followers:
We’ve had reports of a bug in Mercenaries Saga Chronicles – after learning the ‘Move Again’ skill a few characters can get stuck after opening a chest. We’ll publish a patch ASAP. Please avoid learning that skill (in MS1 particularly) until the patch is live.

Square Enix says many people within the company are interested in making Switch games

You may recall Square Enix CEO Yosuke Matsuda mentioning a couple of months ago that Switch “is a very attractive and platform”. Matsuda reiterated this is the latest issue of EDGE.
Matsuda was asked by the magazine how Square Enix’s games have done on Switch thus far. Though it hasn’t been out long, their games “haven’t done badly”. Matsuda added that many people within Square Enix “are looking to make games for Switch.”

Shelter Generations doesn’t have a release date just yet, but it does have a release window. Circle Entertainment announced today that the digital collection launches in March.
In Shelter Generations, you’ll find Shelter 2 and Paws: A Shelter 2 Game. It also includes two soundtracks and two “living books”, combining much of special content that was previously only available on PC.
