Nintendo has announced its full lineup for this year’s Gamescom. The full listing of playable games across Switch and 3DS is posted below.

It seems like something Final Fantasy XV-related might be released on the Switch. During a Twitch panel at gamescom, the director of Final Fantasy XV, Square Enix’s Hajime Tabata, said the following:

Nintendo has given a more detailed look at its livestream schedule during Gamescom. You’ll be able to watch these streams here when they go live. A variety of first-party and third-party games are going to be featured. Here’s the schedule (all times are in BST):

To celebrate the release of the SNES-themed New Nintendo 3DS XL, three new games will join the Nintendo Selects lineup in Europe on October 13th. Super Mario 3D Land, Luigi’s Mansion 2 and Kirby: Triple Deluxe will be available at retailers and on the eShop for a permanently reduced price.

We already knew that a Pokken Tournament DX demo was coming, but we now have a more concrete date – the demo will be available on the Switch eShop this Thursday, August 24th.

The Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Entertainment System won’t be the only SNES-themed piece of hardware launching soon. Nintendo announced today that the New Nintendo 3DS XL – Super Nintendo Entertainment System Edition will launch in Europe on October 13th. This SNES-colored New 3DS XL actually launched in Japan last year already, so it’s nice to see it making its way West.
