According to a Nintendo Ambassador at the Nintendo New York store, your best chance to get a Switch on launch day may be in the Big Apple. It seems that the store will have a healthy number of units for sale to walk-in customers who didn’t pre-order the console.

The Ambassador noted that this is a common scenario for the store, as they had NES Classic Editions for several days after the products launch. You can read the original post here.

Several important Nintendo figures were spotted at the Nintendo New York store recently, likely attending the private event that has been occurring since yesterday. Among those attending are Yoshiaki Koizumi, Shinya Takahashi and Bill Trinen.  You can view some footage from the event below, along with the various Twitter and Instagram posts that the gang appeared in.

Update 2 (2/13): Back up on Amazon Canada.

Update: This seems to have sold out.

Original (2/1): Amazon Canada has opened pre-orders for the Pikachu New 3DS XL. You can secure a unit here. Nintendo will ship the new hardware on February 24.

Update 3: And gone already.

Update 2 (2/13): This is now back up on Amazon Canada.

Update: Now sold out.

Original (2/8): Amazon Canada has the Zelda: Breath of the Wild Special Edition back up for pre-order. If you’d like to secure one, head on over here. We’d be shocked if this didn’t sell out sooner rather than later.

TIME is back with yet another Nintendo-centric interview. In its latest piece, the site chats with Shigeru Miyamoto about Switch (including the involvement from late president Satoru Iwata and HD rumble), virtual reality, stories in games and more.

Per usual, we’ve picked out important comments below. TIME has the full interview here.

Aside from LEGO Dimensions’ new content based on The LEGO Movie, Knight Rider also received a new pack at the end of last week. Kotaku shares some footage below.

Pokemon Sun/Moon players who visit their local GameStop can obtain a silver Bottle Cap as of today. The retailer is distributing card codes for the item up until March 5. For folks in Canada, the same offer is valid at EB Games.

The Bottle Cap can be used in Hyper Training to boost the strength of a Pokemon to the max. Before a Pokemon can participate in Hyper Training, it will need to be at level 100.

Darksiders Warmastered Edition made it out on various platforms last November. Unfortunately, the Wii U version still hasn’t launched, and publisher THQ Nordic has been keeping quiet about the situation in recent weeks.

On the bright side, Darksiders Warmastered Edition is still on track for Wii U. THQ Nordic told one fan on Twitter that it hasn’t been cancelled.

THQ Nordic explained to us last year that “optimizing the game for the Wii U is still a tough task.” The team “made the call of releasing it properly and the only conclusion was to delay it.”

Nintendo has mentioned several times as of late that the NES Classic Edition will be restocked. Despite that, Nintendo’s Nordic distributor Bergsala claims that the hardware is being phased out, and production has ended. A few more shipments will be sent before stock runs out – possibly around April or May.

Norwegian retailer Spillsjappa also posted the following on Facebook:

It’s official now.
NES Classic Edition has expired from Nordic Nintendo importer bergsala ab.
This is tragic for us and our clients when they won’t fulfill orders we accepted in July 2016.
There will be deliveries in March and April and then it’s over 🙁
We will contact everyone standing in line with us and those who sat in line last will get the sad news by email first.
We will still follow queue to the letter and of course those who’s first at all times will get delivered first.

The status of the NES Classic Edition in the rest of the world remains to be seen. It would definitely be odd to see Nintendo pull the plug on the system knowing how many interested consumers still haven’t been able to secure a unit.
