Miitomo launched today in Japan for mobile devices – Nintendo’s first smartphone app will make its way to Europe and North America later this month. Nintendo just published a launch trailer for the app on its new Nintendo Mobile Youtube channel:

Famitsu published some sales numbers for the Pokemon series as a whole today. As of February 29th, 2016, worldwide sales for mainline Pokemon games have surpassed 200 million – more than 201 million copies have been sold.

If you add in the various spin-off games, that number rises to 279 million games sold.

Indie platformer FreezeME from Rainy Night Creations has been out in North America for over a month now. A release date for Europe and Australia has now been set: March 31st.

Thanks to an ongoing Twitter campaign, Capcom has released the 8-minute long animated opening to the upcoming Ace Attorney 6. Note that the video is only available in Japanese and does not currently feature subtitles.

A new trailer from Nintendo’s Japanese Youtube page shows off a new course with a Toadette costume, coming soon to Super Mario Maker. The trailer suggests that she will be added tomorrow, March 18th.

Satoru Iwata was honored at the DICE awards last month with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Tonight, it was GDC’s turn to celebrate the life of the late Nintendo president.

Zero Time Dilemma will support dual audio. At any time, you can switch between English and Japanese voices.

Spike Chunsoft has now shared a trailer for Zero Time Dilemma with the Japanese cast. You can see that below.

Zero Time Dilemma launches June 28 in North America. Japan is getting the game on June 30.

Metroid: Other M hit the Japanese Wii U eShop today as a Wii download. To download the game, players will need nearly 8GB of free space. Other M was probably one of the Wii’s biggesgt titles from a size perspective!
