Nintendo of America will be hosting a virtual launch party for Mario Party 10 later this week. On March 18, fans will be able to participate through the company’s Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts.

The party will feature “an awesome lineup of virtual activities and a chance to hang out with a very special guest you seriously won’t want to miss”, according to Nintendo of America’s Twitter account.

You can find full details about the event below – most of which seem to center around sweepstakes.

When Atlus said that Etrian Mystery Dungeon was facing stock issues, they weren’t kidding. Media Create reports that the game sold through 91.96 percent of its initial shipment in Japan. Essentially, Etrian Mystery Dungeon was sold out at launch.

When Atlus originally spoke about Etrian Mystery Dungeon’s lack of stock, the company said that more product would be coming to stores soon. However, more sell-outs were expected.

Members of the press recently had the opportunity to go hands-on with LEGO Jurassic World. That means in addition to the debut trailer and screenshots, there are also plenty of details to read up on as well. You can find information rounded up from two reports (IGN and Eurogamer) below.

– Demo was three short scenes from the first movie
– Characters have their own powers
– Over 100 characters in the game
– Characters are represented via voice clips captured from the films
– First scene: Dr. Ellie Sattler diagnoses a sick dino by delving into its droppings
– Scour the environment for clues and create a cure
– It’s like LEGO Harry Potter’s collect three items to create a recipe formula
– Sam Neil’s Alan Grant can follow dinosaur tracks
– Other characters can dig for buried items, grow plants to form platforms, or brave dark environments
– Another section of the demo: T-Rex attack on the stalled SUVs was recreated as a puzzle sequence Ian Malcom and Dr. Alan Grant had to solve
– The child-abandoning lawyer wasn’t so much eaten as he was tossed into the T-Rex’s mouth where he used a toilet brush to clean the dino’s chompers
– Instead of the scary scene where Malcom seemingly sacrifices himself by distracting the giant creature with a flare, the duo collects a few parts in the area to create a giant bone to capture the T-Rex’s attention
– Lex is freed so she can use her scream ability to break the windows of a locked truck and tow the other overturned vehicle
– Can play as dinosaurs
– T-Rex chase where Jurassic Park’s largest inhabitant trails a Jeep holding Sattler, Harding, and Malcom will be in the game
– Navigate the vehicle away from the T-Rex and towards bigger stud bounties as Harding
– Can switch to Malcom, who tries to toss flares into the creature’s mouth
– Chases will have variety
– 20-stage campaign
– 5 levels from each movie
– Any chase can be recreated with a different creature doing the running and the ability to put some of the series’ smaller dinos in the drivers seat
– Many humans and dinosaurs will show up during the campaign
– Free-play mode
– Customization ability lets you build new prehistoric creatures out of pre-existing parts
– TT Games is building both islands from the Jurassic Park movies (Isla Nublar and Isla Sorna)
– Recreations of all the areas from each film are promised
– You’ll be able to drive around in those classic park-branded cars

According a report from VideoGamer, Warner Bros. is working on a LEGO toys-to-life game that will release later this year. Traveller’s Tales is said to be making the title that will launch alongside compatible LEGO figures.

Assuming VideoGamer’s article is accurate, that means we’d be seeing three big LEGO games this year – LEGO Jurassic Park and LEGO Marvel’s Avengers being the other two. It’d also mean that Skylanders and Disney Infinity would have a new competitor.

Two primary staffers from the LovePlus series have announced their resignation from the company. Senior producer Akari Uchida as well as character designer Mino Taro have moved on.

Uchida said of his departure:

“I still don’t know yet, but I’d like to keep up the pace and continue doing what I can do. …it was when a fan told me ‘thank you!’ while clenching my hand in tears. In the end, it was the my best decision after thinking about what I can do for such fans from this point on.”

“Now that I have all the time to think about the unlimited things I can do, [the thoughts] of hopes and uncertainty has me jumping up and down like a child. I’d like to have an opportunity to be able to make something together with you all, so when that time comes, please lend me your strength. Let’s cause a commotion together, again!”

Mino Taro also said:

“I have nothing but the deepest feelings for the titles I’ve worked on. In the midst of working in rough conditions as a video game creator, there was a lot I thought about, but I’ve come to my decision after thinking about the last opportunity of being able to do things I wasn’t able to with Konami.”

Since “Mino Taro” was part of Konami, he intends to work under the new freelancer pen name “Minoboshi Taro” to signify the new start.
