Here’s another fan project that you may be interested in: a remake of the very first Paper Mario game. “New Paper Mario” is looking to replace all textures in the game with larger, redone ones. Players will be able to access the results in an emulator once everything is complete.

PlatinumGames posted a video message on its YouTube channel last night, which is intended to be a New Year’s greeting. There are plenty of teases from various staff members about this coming year as well as some general talk. If you head on over to PlatinumGames’ blog, you’ll find a lengthy message from PlatinumGames president and CEO Tatsuya Minami.

Looks like the Pac-Man exploit in Smash Bros. can be beaten after all! You’ll just need to use R.O.B. to take down the competition.

It’s been awhile since we last posted about the Super Mario 64 fan remake – almost a year! However, the project seems to have progressed quite a bit since then. You can get a look at where the game is at currently in the video above.

Remember: every single character in Super Smash Bros. should be getting its own amiibo, so it shouldn’t come as a major surprise that we’re able to see some roster inclusions that don’t have figures yet. Of course, the only way to get access to amiibo like Game & Watch and Duck Hunt is by manipulating the game.

Well, this isn’t good! Smash Bros. fans have managed to find an exploit that allows a team of two Pac-Man players to essentially become untouchable during matches. It’s done with the trampoline move, in which they bounce one another up into the sky. View a video of the exploit above.
