Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon boot up faster on New 3DS systems compared to original 3DS and 2DS models. But how do they compare during actual gameplay?

In Nintendo Life’s new video, we’re able to see that the New 3DS has just a slight edge when it comes to loading areas. The newer portable also seems to have a bit of an advantage when multiple Pokemon are involved with a battle – specifically Battle Royal. There aren’t major differences and the average player probably wouldn’t be able to detect them, though it’s worth pointing out in any case.

To celebrate the release of Pokemon Sun/Moon in Europe, Nintendo released a special 2DS system featuring Pikachu on the front and the three starters on the back. Take a look at an unboxing video below which also shows off the Fan Editions again.

Yet another Pokemon Sun/Moon bundle has popped up, this time at Walmart. Packages containing a bonus Legendary Pokemon figure are available. 3DS owners can nab the Sun version with Solgaleo here and the Lunala version with Lunala here.

Natsume said it would be restocking the River City: Tokyo Rumble with Limited Edition Kunio Keychain this month, and now the publisher has followed through on that. It’s back up on Amazon here. Orders can be placed now, but the item ships on November 29. Also note that this will be the final restock of the bundle.

Two new Pokemon Sun/Moon 3DS themes will be out tomorrow. You’ll be able to purchase “Pokemon Sun & Pokemon Moon – Tropical” as well as “Pokemon Solgaleo/Lunala”. Footage of both is below.

Nintendo produced a 30-second commercial prior to the launch of Pokemon Sun/Moon. We now have another advert that’s about half as long and is for the actual release. Watch it below.

Amazon is now offering the Harvest Moon: Skytree Village plushie bundles. Specifically, you can pick up the Bluebird bundle for $39.99 or the Bobcat package for $49.99. The latter one will ship on November 26.

Natsume cautions fans on Twitter that quantities for both versions are limited. In that case, they may not be up for very long.

We know that Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon are off to a great start in Japan having sold nearly two million copies in just a few days. Unsurprisingly, they appear to be doing quite well in North America as well.

During its financial call today, GameStop said that Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon are the retailer’s best-performing games of 2016. Additionally, pre-orders were the highest for any title at GameStop in five years.
