An extensive new update for Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris has just been released, bringing with it a variety of new content, quality of life updates, and bug fixes. Full details can be found below:

Back in August, it was announced that upcoming adventure game A Space for the Unbound was to be delayed indefinitely due friction between the game’s developers, Toge Productions and Mojiken Studio, and their publisher at the time, PQube. Thankfully, this situation has now been resolved, with PQube ceding publishing rights to Chorus Worldwide.

While Toge Productions is still set to publish the game on PC, Chorus Worldwide is picking up the publishing mantle as global publisher for all console versions. As such, it would seem that PQube will no longer be involved in the game’s launch, but the title should be getting primed for release once again.

Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova released today on Switch, and Bandai Namco have dropped a launch trailer to celebrate the occasion, giving us a quick look at the gameplay and a brief overview of the story.

Mario Kart Tour has announced that the next Tour featured in the game will be a seasonal Halloween Tour. Players can expect a number of new Driver and Kart elements to be featured, a new Mii Racing Suit based on character Dry Bones to be added, and the appearance of a new course in the form of GBA Boo Lake.

Endless Memories gameplay

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 update 1.2.0

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 just received its new version 1.2.0 update, and as part of that, wave 2 of the game’s DLC has gone live.

As a reminder, the next wave of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 DLC is primarily comprised of two elements. The first aspect is Ino, a new Hero with an additional quest. Challenge Battles are also included in which players can earn accessories and special outfits by taking on tough enemies.

The third wave of the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass, comprised of more Challenge Battles, a new Hero, and outfits will be live by April 2023. A new story scenario for the game will follow by the end of 2023 and concludes all DLC.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak update 12.0.1

Capcom just released a new update for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, and version 12.0.1 is now available on Switch.

The update includes unauthorized Anomaly Investigations countermeasures, a fix for a Switch save data size error, and  changes to repeated gesture and pose inputs. Other fixes and adjustments are included as well.

Pokemon GO Mega Banette, Shiny Galarian Yamask, Shiny Noibat

Niantic today revealed details about the Halloween Event 2022 for Pokemon GO, which will add Mega Banette, Shiny Galarian Yamask, and Shiny Noibat. Two parts are planned, and the whole thing will run between October 20 and November 1.

Tempus

A new first-person puzzle game is bound for Switch, as Jandusoft revealed today that Tempus is heading to Switch next week. It will be available on October 20, 2022.
