There’s still more content planned for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order. Aside from more costumes that will be free to all players, new DLC is in the works featuring the Fantastic Four.
An apparent datamine may give some additional insight regarding other possible additions for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. It seems that there could be some additional story content in the pipeline, for example.

Arcade Archives Penguin Wars releasing on Switch this week

Hamster is kicking off the start of 2020 with another Arcade Archives game. This week, Switch owners will be able to get their hands on the classic title Penguin Wars. It just launched in Japan and will be available worldwide tomorrow.
Penguin Wars, made by UPL, originally debuted in 1985. Players take on the role of an animal as they attempt to roll a set of balls across the table while their opponent does the same. The winner is chosen when all of the balls are on one player’s side.
Pricing for Arcade Archives Penguin Wars is set at $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.

Metro Redux appears to be in the works for Switch as new rating appears in Europe

One of the earliest announcements made for Wii U was Metro: Last Light. That release ended up being cancelled in the end, but the first-person shooter IP may now finally be making an appearance on Nintendo’s console with Metro Redux for Switch.
Metro Redux was first rumored for the Big N’s platform after a listing popped up on a Portuguese retailer website. Then more significantly, the European ratings board PEGI just added in a rating yesterday. Those two pages combined all but suggest that an announcement is imminent.
Metro Redux bundles together Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light. There were technical and gameplay improvements, including enhanced animations. It’s unclear what exactly we can expect from the Switch version, though we’ve included some additional information and a trailer below.

Fire Emblem Heroes hosting New Year’s events, Tempest Trials+: Mid-fest Digest starting soon

Fire Emblem Heroes has kicked off a new round of events in celebration of New Year’s. These include the Renewed Spirit, New Year’s of Fire and Ice, and Happy New Year summoning events, Voting Gauntlet: Kingdoms vs. Empires, log-in bonuses, Aether Raid event, and New Year! quests.
It’s also been announced that Tempest Trials+: Mid-fest Digest is starting soon. Players will be able to obtain the 5-star Special Hero Eir: Renewed Life and three Sacred Seals: Swift Sparrow 1, Spd Feint 1, and HD/Def 1.
Smash Bros. Ultimate to host new tournament dedicated to Melee this week

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is kicking it old-school this week with another brand new tournament. This time around, the theme is actually dedicated to a previous entry in the series.
When the event begins, players will only be able to use fighters and stages from Super Smash Bros. Melee. Items will also appear from the classic GameCube game.
The new tournament goes live on January 3.
