Zero Escape 3 – more philosophical, answers questions from Virtue’s Last Reward, importance of fans
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, DS, News | 5 Comments
Zero Escape creator Kotaro Uchikoshi shared a few more details about the series’ third entry while speaking with IGN.
Uchikoshi started out by saying that moral elements “will be the main theme” for this new project.
“Your way of thinking, values, virtues will be intensely [shaken] during this game, This game is even more philosophical than the past volumes. Of course it’ll be entertaining too!”
Uchikoshi confirmed that Zero Escape 3 will answer all remaining questions from Virtue’s Last Reward. He added that “as a story [Zero Escape] will definitely end at Volume 3.”
“I intend to answer every mystery left during VLR and the mysteries in ZE3 would be solved as well. This game will not end in a cliffhanger. However please take it as one break…if there are still fans requesting, I can not deny that there will not be new incidents arriving either.”
Finally, Uchikoshi talked about how the fan responses led to 999 becoming a trilogy.
“I wasn’t thinking of doing a continuation during 999. However thanks to fans world wide giving the game a high praise it grew into a series. I am very thankful for this. Especially for Volume 2 and 3, my intentions were them being paired as a set so I really wanted to make Volume 3 happen.”
Update: Solution found, cross-buy for all – 3DS owners of Xeodrifter may not be receiving Wii U version for free as planned
Posted on 10 years ago by Dennis Gagliardotto(@LyonHart_) in 3DS eShop, News, Wii U eShop | 4 Comments
Update from Brian: Bumped to the top. A solution has been found, and Xeodrifter for Wii U will be available for free to those who previously purchased the game on 3DS.
Great News! Nintendo has a solution!! Xeodrifter will be cross-buy for early 3DS adopters and new customers alike! 🙂 pic.twitter.com/MZhc7M9shX

Renegade Kid had originally planned on giving early adopters of Xeodrifter on 3DS a free download code for Wii U owners, however it seems that due to certain limitations, this may no longer be happening according to the co-founder and director of Renegade Kid, Jools Watsham.
Due to technical limitations outside of our control, we may not be able to offer a free Wii U copy of Xeodrifter to current 3DS owners. 🙁
— Jools Watsham (@JoolsWatsham) July 7, 2015
We'll still support cross-buy, but only those who buy 3DS/Wii U after Wii U is launched might get a DL code for other SKU on their receipt.
— Jools Watsham (@JoolsWatsham) July 7, 2015
I am very sorry about this. I want early adopters of Xeodrifter to be rewarded with Wii U for free, but it may not be possible.
— Jools Watsham (@JoolsWatsham) July 7, 2015
It’s unfortunate to see this type of thing happen in the industry. Unfortunately, Jools cannot disclose exactly what’s going on and for what particular reason, but judging from the responses to these tweets, the fans are extremely supportive despite the unfortunate setback, and are still “double dipping” because of their love for the title. For those that don’t have Xeodrifter yet, however, you will get codes for both versions when you buy one as it will be a cross-buy title once the Wii U version releases.
Xeodrifter is currently available in the Nintendo eShop for 3DS, with the Wii U version arriving soon.

Moving Player releasing LEVEL 22, Gary’s Misadventures on Wii U
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 1 Comment
Moving Player is bringing LEVEL 22, Gary’s Misadventures to Wii U. The game will be released for the eShop.
LEVEL 22, Gary’s Misadventures previously launched last year. Here’s an overview:
Are You Late For Work? Start Panicking!
Gary is an office worker who oversleeps after a drunken night out on the town. Here’s where it gets tricky, because this isn’t the first time Gary’s been late for work, and he could be fired if he’s spotted arriving at his desk after everyone else yet again. So he’ll have to prove he’s smart and sneaky enough to make his way up all the 22 floors between him and his office without being seen.
Hide in closets, crawl through air vents, slink along the walls… nobody must spot you!
Use everything in your reach to get to the end of the level: hide behind a newspaper, smash a vending machine with a well-aimed kick, or use donuts to lure the security guards away.Want to drive your colleagues crazy, knock them out, poison them or even expose them to harmful radiation?
Want to booby-trap photocopiers, creep around under a cardboard box or give laxatives to your co-workers?
Want to settle the score with your bosses?
From the basement to the boss’s office via the research and development labs, explore the zany little universe of LEVEL 22, Gary’s Misadventures.
If you’d like to see LEVEL 22 in video form, check out the trailer below.
