Pokemon Unite update 1.8.1.7

Pokemon Unite received its latest update this week, moving the game up to version 1.8.1.7.

This update is largely focused on Comfey, who “has been comprehensively buffed.” There’s also a fix with Sableye and text fixes.

Hot on the heels of the Exploration Tour wrapping up, a new Doctor Tour has just been announced for Mario Kart Tour. This event will feature the usual new driver and kart elements, and will also feature DS Shroom Ridge as a new track for the game.

Fire Emblem Heroes New Heroes & Ascended Elincia

Another summoning event is coming up for Fire Emblem Heroes – specifically New Heroes & Ascended Elincia. It will feature Lucia: Tireless Advisor (voiced by AmaLee, art by Takaya Tomohide), Geoffrey: Realm’s Protector (voiced by Joshua David King, art by Shinomura Watari), Bastian: Crimea’s Keystone (voiced by Eliah Mountjoy, art by Yoneko), and Elincia: Devoted Queen (voiced by Heather Gonzalez, art by Kita Senri).

A new update has released for Pikmin Bloom, bringing the game to version 63.0.

This update is implementing a number of notable new features and improvements, including a new flower planting accelerator, a way of feeding Pikmin from the Pikmin list and Pikmin details screens, and the ability to send postcards and gift packs to friends in mushroom battles.

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have announced the next update coming to Fire Emblem Heroes. The update, version 7.2.0, is set to release on February 5 in North America and February 6 in Europe.

This new version will feature a new pity system for Summoning Events, the Focus Charge feature. The update is otherwise pretty standard, offering new weapons and skills to existing characters and making a few other minor adjustments.

The patch notes for Fire Emblem Heroes version 7.2.0 are as follows:

Nintendo has just announced the next event coming to Mario Kart Tour, that being the brand-new Exploration Tour. As per usual, this Tour will feature new driver and kart elements and a new Mii Racing Suit, but the main highlight here is a brand-new track, Piranha Plant Cove. This track was teased earlier today and features large underwater temples for racers to drive through.

Nintendo has put out a couple of trailers for the new Tour and Mii Racing Suit, which you can watch below.

Mario Kart Tour Plant Cove track

Mario Kart Tour is set to receive a brand new course known as Plant Cove, Nintendo has announced. This track has never appeared in the series previously.

Nintendo provided a first look a the course today, pictured above. It obviously has a water theme going on, but we only have a glimpse for now. We do know that it will be featured in the Exploration Tour on February 7 at 10 PM PT / February 8 at 1 AM ET. Full details about the event have not yet been provided.

Fire Emblem Heroes Choose Your Legends Round 7 results

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have revealed the results of the Fire Emblem Heroes: Choose Your Legends Round 7 event.

In the men’s division, Robin came in first place with 18,401 votes followed by Soren in second place with 18,051 votes. Gullveig was the top choice in the women’s division with 16,941 votes followed by Corrin in second with 14,369 votes. The special Choose Your Legends versions of these heroes will be added to the game this summer. If you’re curious, we have last year’s results here.

Pokemon GO 2023 Valentine's Day Mega Gardevoir

Niantic has announced a 2023 Valentine’s Day event for Pokemon GO, which will add Mega Gardevoir to the game. Shiny Tapu Lele and Shiny Frillish will also be appearing.

The Pokemon GO 2023 Valentine’s Day event will be held between Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at 10 AM to Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at 8 PM local time. The following in-game bonuses and features are planned:

A new update for Pokemon Home has just released, bringing the app to version 2.1.0. This patch specifically affects the mobile version of the app, with the Switch version remaining untouched for now.

This new update focuses around adding further Pokemon Scarlet and Violet integration for the app, specifically by making Ranked Battle data from those games viewable within the app. On top of addressing other small issues, it’s also providing a similar feature for Pokemon Sword and Shield, allowing players to view battle results from those titles.
