The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD

Nintendo has opened the full North American website for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD. It can be accessed here.

It doesn’t look like there are any My Nintendo points to earn, but the site may be worth looking at if you have any passing interest. There’s plenty of information about the story, world, and gameplay.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD arrives for Switch on July 16.

Alphadia Genesis 2

Alphadia Genesis 2, Kemco and Exe Create’s latest RPG, has landed on Switch. View some gameplay in the video below.

According to Monster Hunter series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, the team working on Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin spent “a long time deciding what to do with the graphics at first.”

Tsujimoto, along with director Kenji Oguru, spoke about the visual style during the Monster Hunter Stories 2 Special Pre-Launch Program. Oguru mentioned wanting to appeal to a wider audience compared to the first entry on 3DS. The character models were a big focus, and the team ended up going with more realistic body proportions.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin

Here’s something a little bit confusing when it comes to Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. For the physical version, a download may be required.

Nintendo Everything reader PSI Wind works at a retailer, and shared a couple of photos with us of the game’s box. On the front, there’s a clear notice towards the bottom stating “download required”. There’s been nothing about this from Capcom officially, and boxart images posted to retailer websites do not have that label.

Astria Ascending

Thanks to retailer listings, we now have confirmation that Astria Ascending will be sold physically on Switch. It should be out right alongside the digital version in September.

Pre-orders for the physical release are now starting to open. It’s currently up on Amazon here and Amazon Canada here.

Shadowverse: Champion's Battle

During a recent live stream, XSEED showed off the first gameplay from the English version of Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle, which provides a proper look at the dub. View the recording below – which features voice actor Joe Zieja.

Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle will be out for Switch in the west on August 10. We have additional information and a trailer here.

Star Renegades - "Total Lunarcy" update

A new “Total Lunarcy” update has gone live for Star Renegades at Switch. The game is now at version 1.0.4, Raw Fury and Massive Damage have confirmed.

The update includes plenty of content for new players. Lunar Base has been added as a new dungeon, featuring unique equipment rewards and a special Quantum Funnel that allows you to unlock Hero Perks from other dimensions.

Zelda: Skyward Sword HD

Following up on yesterday’s trailer, Nintendo has clarified even more of the quality of life improvements for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD.

While this was shown during a brief second in the video, we have official confirmation that autosave functionality is included. This is on top of the manual save option.

Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit received a surprise 1.1.0 update yesterday. New content was added, including a Mario Cup (featuring Slip Circuit, Barrel Temple, and Fossil Field) and Yoshi kart.
