It seems that Pokemon Sword/Shield players in Japan will have a chance to unlock exclusive in-game rewards due to a promotion starting November 20, 2020. According to Serebii, when Japanese players purchase certain Pokemon merchandise (including cards) after this start date, they will receive a code for one of many in-game Pokemon/Poke balls.

The prizes include: Genesect, 20 Cyrite Ore, Fast Ball, Level Ball, Love Ball, Volcanion, Moon Ball, Heavy Ball, Friend Ball, Lure Ball, Marshadow, Safari Ball, Sport Ball and Master Ball. It’s unclear how long this promotion will last, but hopefully many players will be able to grab these items and Pokemon before they are gone.

The next big expansion for Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield has arrived. The Crown Tundra is out now, and can be accessed after installing a new 1.3.0 update. Note that you’ll also need to have purchased the Expansion Pass.

Here’s a rundown of what’s included in The Crown Tundra:

Wallachia: Reign of Dracula

The retro-styled action platformer/shooter Wallachia Reign of Dracula is heading to Switch next week, according to an eShop listing. A digital release is planned for October 29.

Here’s an overview of Wallachia: Reign of Dracula, along with a trailer:

Drawn to Life: Two Realms

THQ and 5th Cell created the action-adventure series Drawn to Life in 2007. It was followed by a sequel known as Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter, not to mention the spinoff Drawn to Life: SpongeBob SquarePants Edition.

After THQ originally shut down, 505 Games acquired the IP rights. 505 hasn’t done much with the franchise, but it looks like that’s finally about to change.

Over in Taiwan, a new rating just surfaced for Drawn to Life: Two Realms. 505 Games is naturally confirmed as publisher, and the listing offers up the following description:

The action-adventure game Elliot Quest is no longer limited to the eShop. Today, Nicalis announced that it has teamed up with Ansimuz Games on a new physical version for Switch.

Nicalis says that the game’s packaging “completes the homage with a full-color instruction manual and a retro-inspired reversible cover paying tribute to one game that influenced Elliot Quest directly.”

The physical version of Elliot Quest releases on November 6 for $29.99. Nicalis is taking pre-orders through its online store here.
