ARMS Party Crash Bash – round 7 starts next week

Nintendo will soon be kicking off the next ARMS Party Crash Bash. For those who missed it, the event is being held to determine the game’s best character.
The seventh round will be hosted next week. This time around, Mechanica and Master Mummy will be battling. The theme is “Heavyweight Clash”.
The latest ARMS Party Crash Bash event goes live on February 15. It’ll last until February 18.

Ubisoft reveals Trials Rising post-launch plan

Ubisoft today outlined its post-launch plan for Trials Rising, the newest entry in the motorcycle platform series. The company is planning the Trials Rising Expansion Pass in addition to upcoming free Events and Seasons.

Take-Two says Civilization VI on Switch “significantly exceeded expectations”, promises more support

Take-Two reported its financial results for the third quarter today. There’s one aspect in particular that should be encouraging for Nintendo fans.
Take-Two says that Civilization VI, which launched last November, “significantly exceeded expectations”. It also released NBA 2K19, NBA 2K Playgrounds 2, and Carnival Games in 2018.

Japan: Smash Bros. Ultimate sold over 300,000 digital copies in December

This week’s issue of Famitsu has a report on Japan’s best-selling games of December. We’ll publish the full chart soon (sometime after the magazine actually releases), but we do have an early tidbit. Famitsu reports that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate sold 309,229 digital copies.
Dragon Quest Builders 2 is another game that debuted in December. According to Famitsu, the Switch version sold 33,506 digital copies.
