FIFA finally returned to Nintendo platforms last year with FIFA 18 on Switch. However, this year’s entry wasn’t necessarily a sure thing. But now Andrei Lazarescu, supervising producer for FIFA World Cup mode, has confirmed that FIFA 19 will in fact appear on Switch.

Like last year’s entry, FIFA 19 will be using a custom engine on Nintendo’s console. Lazarescu didn’t rule out potentially using Frostbite in the future, however.

Nippon Ichi published a new video for Ys VIII today that gives us another look at the Switch version. You’ll find gameplay about halfway through the upload below.

Sushi Striker

Nintendo has another new video up for Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido. Below, we have a video that teaches fans how to play. You’ll learn the basics of conveyor-belt sushi, plate matching, and sushi types to defeat any enemy or boss who stands between you and victory.

SEGA just released a new Japanese trailer for Shining Resonance Refrain, which shows the Switch version in action:

The game will be released on July 10th.

HORI just announced what is definitely one of the stranger accessories out there for the Switch: a noise-dampening cover for microphones that are compatible with the Switch. The idea is to use this cover when you want to play karaoke games like Let’s Sing 2018 or Karaoke JOYSOUND, but don’t want to disturb others in the house with your singing. This accessory will cost ¥1,280, in case you’re interested in it.

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle

Arc System Works published a new Japanese video and commercial for BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle. Find both below.

A couple of comparisons have come in for Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu / Eevee. In addition to one for Pokemon Fire Red, we also have one for Pokemon Yellow. Both are below.

Over the past day or so, a few new games have been announced for Switch. These include Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee, Team Sonic Racing, and LEGO DC Super-Villains.

After these announcements were made, retailers started opening pre-orders. We’ve rounded up the available reservation links below.

The next Splatoon 2 map is coming very soon. Wahoo World will be added to the game tomorrow in North America and Friday in Europe, Nintendo has announced.
