Just like Nintendo of America, Nintendo of Europe has offered new information about the launch of Super Mario Odyssey in Europe.
Nintendo says that Super Mario Odyssey has become the fastest-selling Super Mario game ever across Europe. It surpassed the launch weekend sales of Super Mario Galaxy 2, which came to Wii several years ago. Super Mario Odyssey is also the fastest-selling Switch game in Europe.

Mario Odyssey sells over 1.1 million copies in the US in first five days, fastest-selling Super Mario game ever

Nintendo has revealed new sales data for Super Mario Odyssey in the United States. During the game’s first five days, the game sold over 1.1 million copies. It’s now the fastest-selling Super Mario game ever in the US, not to mention Switch’s fastest-selling game.
Nintendo also confirmed that Switch sales in the US are over 2.6 million.

Did you purchase Monopoly on Switch this past week? If so, you may have encountered a significant issue with loading.
Kotaku reports that simply booting Monopoly up can take anywhere from five to 10 minutes. Starting a fresh match against AI players can take another five to 10 minutes, or possibly more. That’s not good.
Splatoon 2: Custom Jet Squelcher being added to the game today/tomorrow

Splatoon 2 is getting its weekly new weapon a day earlier than usual this week, it seems. The Custom Jet Squelcher is identical to the Jet Squelcher in terms of stats, but comes with the Burst Bomb sub-weapon and the Sting Ray special. It’ll be available tomorrow around noon in Japan and Australia, early in the morning in Europe and later tonight in North America.

My Nintendo Japan updates with a set of physical Zelda: Breath of the Wild posters

Over in Japan, My Nintendo has updated with a new physical reward. Members in the country can use their points to order three Zelda: Breath of the Wild posters. The set costs 300 Platinum Points.
If you happen to live in Japan, you can order the My Nintendo reward here. It’ll be on the site until November 13, with shipping starting at the start of December. Also note that there is a shipping charge.
NBA 2K18 update coming soon (version 1.05), full patch notes

Another major patch is coming soon to NBA 2K18. 2K and Visual Concepts are implementing a bunch of changes and improvements to various aspects of the game.

Reggie says Nintendo is aware of concerns about backing up saves on Switch

Currently there is no easy way of backing up save data on Switch. If your system experiences a major issue for whatever reason, your saves may very well be in jeopardy. That naturally raises concerns for Switch owners. When you’ve poured hundreds of hours into games like Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey, you don’t want to lose all of that progress.
Mashable brought up the issue in an interview with Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime. Reggie acknowledged that Nintendo is aware of these concerns, though there’s nothing to announce about backing up save data at present.
