Today, Aniplex and Type-Moon issued a second official trailer for Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon, a remake of the original Tsukihime. It can be seen in the video below starting at 4:18.

Monark

We’ve got more news on Monark, the upcoming Switch RPG from former Shin Megami Tensei staff. Clouded Leopard Entertainment has announced that it is handling the release of Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean versions. The game will launch in Japan and Asia on October 14.

Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection

Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection, a package containing Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge, debuts on Switch this week. Find footage of all three games below.

UK sales for May 2021

Thanks to GamesIndustry, we have new insight into the UK gaming market for May 2021.

Compared to last year, Switch sales have fallen – but keep in mind that the COIVD-19 lockdown and launch of Animal Crossing: New Horizons provided a significant boost in 2020. Switch sales are actually up 60 percent year-to-date compared to 2019. As for May specifically, Switch sales were behind those of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Miitopia, a new release for Switch in May, came in at #19. It’s possible that the title could have charted higher had Nintendo reported digital sales.

Cross-play support is coming to Overwatch, Blizzard has announced. When active, Switch players will be able to go up against others on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. Cross-progression is not planned for launch though the team is exploring that functionality.

Players will need to create and link their Battle.net account in order to participate. Everyone who follows the steps and logs in to Overwatch by December 31, 2021 will receive a Golden Loot Box.

Today, Atlus shared a new Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster video featuring director Kazuyuki Yamai. Yamai goes over the RPG’s Digital Deluxe Edition content, which includes the Maniax Pack DLC (featuring Dante from Devil May Cry), music from a variety of previously released Shin Megami Tensei titles, and the Mercy and Expectation Map Pack with two additional dungeons.

Also keep in mind that the Merciful Difficulty DLC is free to all. This provides a more accessible for players interested in focusing on the game’s stor.y

Fuga: Melodies of Steel

It’s been a long wait for Fuga: Melodies of Steel. The game, which was announced as part of CyberConnect2’s “Trilogy of Vengeance” projects over three years ago, still hasn’t released. There also hasn’t been many updates from the developer as of late.

Fortunately, we’re due for news very soon. CyberConnect2 has confirmed that a “big announcement” is dropping on June 14 at 12 PM in Japan. That converts to the following times in other parts of the world:

Nintendo Switch

Nintendo has now fully addressed the issues surrounding Switch’s latest firmware update, version 12.0.3. All system owners can access the upgrade once again.

Version 12.0.3 went live a couple of days ago. However, Nintendo temporarily pulled the update after detecting a couple of issues.

If you previously downloaded this week’s update, no further action is required. Those that have been experiencing issues with new microSDXC cards over the past couple of days simply need to connect to the internet and install version 12.0.3.
