Digimon Survive

Digimon Survive is experiencing yet another delay.

Toei Animation published a financial report today, which now has the game listed for the fiscal year 2022 Q3 and beyond. Bandai Namco itself has also since confirmed the release window shift.

Digimon Survive was first announced for Switch in 2018, and it was planned to launch the following year. In July 2019, it was delayed to 2020. Last October, it was pushed to 2021.

CrossCode A New Home DLC

CrossCode is about to receive brand new DLC on Switch. A New Home, which takes place immediately after the main game, is scheduled for August 5.

The Addams Family: Mansion Mayhem

Outright Games and PHL Collective have issued the first gameplay trailer for The Addams Family: Mansion Mayhem, which was announced for Switch back in May. We have it below.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania

SEGA is back with another trailer for Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania that highlights the game’s various characters. AiAi, MeeMee, Baby, GonGon, YanYan, and Doctor all get the spotlight.

Koei Tecmo today announced a final release date for the Switch version of Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water. The horror-adventure title will be available on October 28, the company confirmed.

Monark

FuRyu and Lancarse issued a new trailer for Monark today that shows off the RPG’s gameplay systems. Get a look at the video below.

Monark is due out for Switch in Japan on October 14. It’ll be heading west in early 2022.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania

In a brief message today, the official Twitter account for Super Monkey Ball shared more information about the Switch version of Banana Mania.

First up, the game is confirmed to run at 60 frames per second. That was likely after we saw the most recent trailer on Nintendo’s YouTube account, but it’s nice to have the confirmation. We can also say that gyroscopic controls will be supported.

Earth Defense Force 2017

The Switch version of Earth Defense Force 2017 – otherwise known as Earth Defense Force 3 – now has a release date in Japan. It’ll launch on October 14, according to a Famitsu report.

Earth Defense Force 2: Invaders from Planet Space just released for Switch in Japan. D3Publisher made it available on July 15.

Thus far, there’s no word on whether we’ll be getting Earth Defense Force 2017 or Earth Defense Force 2: Invaders from Planet Space on Switch outside of Japan.
