Wii U

As reported by MCV, independent game retailers now have the ability to sell digital games for Wii U and 3DS.

DLCSoft, a subsidiary of CentreSoft, is in charge of the service. Selling digital Nintendo titles will allow retailers “to establish their stores as a true digital destination on the High Street.”

Mario and Zelda are among the games set to be sold. Retailers will be able to sell full games and digital-only eShop titles.

Today’s screenshot features the Mii Gunner once again, as Sakurai explains one of the possible attacks available to Mii fighters:

The Mii Gunner’s side smash attack may have the farthest reach of all the side smashes…as should be expected from a firearms expert!! Looks like the attack missed this time, though.

Bayonetta Wii U

This past week, Nintendo clarified to us how it intends to offer the first Bayonetta to Bayonetta 2 buyers in North America.

Ultimately, it’s quite simple. Nintendo has confirmed that Bayonetta will be included with the physical release as a separate disc. Meanwhile, those who purchase Bayonetta 2 on the eShop will still get Bayonetta 1 at no additional cost.

The situation is fairly similar in Europe. You can find information about Bayonetta 1/2 for PAL territories here.

Some of the folks who hacked Mario Kart Wii are now focusing their attention on Mario Kart 8. While their efforts are in the very early stages, the video above shows the ability to rename courses, changes pertaining to music, and more.

The hackers note in their YouTube video, “None of this is in any state to be released at present, and it’s unlikely that we ever will in the interest of preventing cheaters”.
