The folks over at Sonic Stadium have put together an overview about the new Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric update. SEGA just released the patch in Europe this week, and it should be out in North America very soon.

Another interview with Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate executive producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and creative director Kaname Fujioka has appeared, this time coming from Nintendo Life. The two developers tackled various topics such as the lack of a Wii U version, collaborations in the game, support received from Nintendo, and more. Hyrule Warriors version 1.5.0 details

Hyrule Warriors’ next update, version 1.5.0, is set to arrive alongside the Majora’s Mask pack. Here’s a look at what’s new:
Maximum level increased
New mixing materials
New medals
New weapon skills
Updated Junk Store – “Skills Cancellation,” “Skills Advice,” and “Weapons Sale” added
Updated Adventure Mode information screen – “Damage Taken” and “Retry from the Beginning” added
An arcade machine in Splatoon may feature the 2D game

A trailer shown for Splatoon last year gave us a brief look at the game’s single-player campaign. You may remember an incredibly brief scene included in the video that showed some sort of 2D gameplay.
This may have resurfaced during this week’s Nintendo Direct. Take a look at the screencap below:
Perhaps we’ll be able to play the 2D game at this arcade machine?

Metal Mario Kart 8 Wii U wheel will be coming soon to Japan

It appears as if Japan will be receiving a special edition Metal Mario Kart 8 Wii U wheel.
The special edition Wii U wheel is being released by Hori and comes with a Metal Mario Kart 8 designed wheel and skin for your Wiimote.
No word at his time if it will be coming to the West.

Hyrule Warriors Majora’s Mask Pack screenshots/art – a look at new costumes

This week’s Nintendo Direct showed a good portion of what’s included in the Hyrule Warriors Majora’s Mask Pack. We got a look at new playable characters and the new Adventure mode map. Additionally, new costumes were teased through silhouettes.
Now we know for sure just what those costumes are. Lana is receiving a new Skull Kid outfit, while there will be new Ocarina of Time outfits for Impa and Sheik respectively.
