Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams developer Black Forest Games intends to fully support Wii U going forward. All of the company’s future games will be brought to the console, and simultaneous releases are planned – meaning there won’t be any sort of delay for Wii U versions.

Black Forest Games is also interested in the 3DS. In fact, according to managing director Adrian Goersch, the studio is interested in bringing Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams to the handheld.

Goersch told Nintendo Life:

“We are planning to bring every game we develop to the Wii U as well, and we are planning for simultaneous releases. So no delay for Nintendo fans. 3DS is something we would like to do for Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams one day.”

Mighty No. 9 has reached what is arguably the biggest stretch goal for the game’s Kickstarter campaign thus far: console versions. The project has now been given an official release on the Wii U, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. Mighty No. 9 reached the goal just a short while ago after collecting $2.2 million in funds.

There are still two weeks remaining in the Kickstarter, and plenty of additional stretch goals to hit. You can donate to the project here.

River City Ransom: Underground has a shot of landing on both the Wii U and 3DS. Conatus Creative expressed quite a bit of interest in both systems when we recently approached the studio.

When asked about a potential release on Nintendo’s platforms, founder Daniel Crenna told us:

Our original game plan was: focus on funding on Windows, forget about stretch goals until we’re there, then talk about more platforms. But, all good plans…

We decided PS4 based on information we had at the time and what’s possible for us technically, but we want people to know that we want this on every platform, especially consoles like WiiU and handhelds like 3DS. So, whether we do it in a stretch goal (and we may not reach our first based on our current trajectory) or we do it funded by sales of our Windows release, the platform story doesn’t end with this Kickstarter.

As long as we ship a great game, and have strong numbers and a good relationship with our licensor, then we will have all the incentive we need to keep working on this game on as many platforms as possible, including River City Ransom’s original home on Nintendo.

Conatus Creative launched its Kickstarter last week in order to fund River City Ransom: Underground. Over $67,500 CAD has been raised thus far with three weeks left to go. The campaign’s target is set at $180,000.
