Attack of the Friday Monsters! A Tokyo Tale and Picross e2 will both be coming to the North American 3DS eShop this month, according to official listings.

The store mentions that Level-5’s new Guild02 title will be out on July 18 for $7.99. Picross e2, meanwhile, will supposedly be available on July 25 for $5.99.

Note that these listings aren’t absolute. The information is likely accurate since it’s up on the eShop, but nothing is set in stone until the Nintendo Download reports are published.

Level-5 isn’t working on any major Professor Layton games as far as we know. Azran Legacy ends the series’ second saga, and closes Layton’s story.

That doesn’t mean Level-5 will be leaving the franchise behind forever. But if it were to return, fans should expect big changes.

When asked if Layton will see another trilogy of titles, Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino said:

“If a seventh game was to be born one day, it probably won’t be the Layton we know today.”

North America will be missing out on One Piece: Romance Dawn. Although Namco Bandai announced the game for Europe last week, there aren’t any plans to bring the 3DS title stateside. If you want to play Romance Dawn in English, you’ll need a European system and a European copy of the game.

Super Mario Bros. 2 could be heading to the North American 3DS eShop this week. Nintendo’s website is listing the game for release on Thursday. These dates sometimes shift, but there’s a strong chance that Super Mario Bros. 2 will be out in just a few days.

Scirra’s Construct 2 engine allows for games to be made across a whole bunch of different hardware. PC, iOS, and Android are just a few of the supported systems.

Construct 2 is now relevant to Nintendo, as news has spread today that the company has reached out to Scirra. Specifics regarding the conversation are unknown, but it could be a pretty big deal to have Construct 2 working on Wii U.

Nintendo will soon be offering a fantastic deal on the 3DS eShop. A notice on the digital store indicates that users who purchase Fire Emblem: Awakening or (and?) Shin Megami Tensei IV will receive a $30 credit.

3DS owners are advised to check out the game page for each title for more information. But at present, no further details are available. Shin Megami Tensei IV will be out next week, so Nintendo should be providing an official update about the offer soon enough.

According to the IndieGogo page, the game will feature non-linear levels, five different areas, hordes of demons, and huge bosses. It’s estimated to launch in mid-2014.
