Playism is teaming up with developer Lizardry to publish the puzzle game and visual novel hybrid 7 Days to End with You on Switch, the company announced today. It will be available sometime this winter.

7 Days to End with You has previously appeared on PC and mobile. In it, the person you find yourself with speaks a language you don’t understand, so you will have to deduce the meaning of each word to uncover the story hidden beneath. New to the Switch version are slightly different endings, exclusive brand new endings, improved translations, and a gallery function that unlocks after clearing the game.

A second character trailer has arrived for Samurai Maiden, this time showing Hagane.

Hagane, who is voiced by Sumire Uesaka, has a right arm that can extend and contract at will and also is capable of emitting a high-voltage current. She’s said to be supportive and nurturing to the women around her, and heaps affection on them while paying no mind to their blushing.

We’re starting to see another round of leaks for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, revealing looks at new Pokemon like the evolution for Pawmi and more. Centro Leaks has been sharing the latest content.

This has been the third major leak within the past week. After copies starting getting their way out to fans likely due to retailers selling the games early, access is starting to become more widespread. Initial leaks showed us Pokemon like the evolution for Fuecoco. Then a couple of days ago, we got a look at evolutions for all of the starters and more.

A new demo for Mario Strikers: Battle League is now available, Nintendo has announced. It can be accessed via the eShop.

Those interested in the demo can try out “a limited selection of characters, stadiums, and matches”. Some modes can be played a limited number of times. Quick Battle lets you play up to seven matches and for Cup Battles, the Cannon Cup is playable once.

Original (8/3): SNK will be releasing NeoGeo Pocket Color Selection Vol. 2, the company has announced. Specifics, including the lineup of games, have not been shared just yet. There’s also no word on a launch window at this time.

NeoGeo Pocket Color Selection Vol. 1 debuted on Switch in March 2021. It included Big Tournament Golf, Dark Arms, Fatal Fury First Contact, King of Fighters R-2, Metal Slug 1st Mission, Metal Slug 2nd Mission, Samurai Shodown! 2, SNK Gals’ Fighters, SNK vs. Capcom: The Match of the Millennium, and The Last Blade: Beyond the Destiny.

An eShop listing reveals that JellyCar Worlds, the latest entry in the driving / platforming series, is heading to Switch. It will be available on December 1, 2022.

JellyCar doesn’t hold the weight as some of the bigger titles in gaming, but the series has had an interesting history. The first entry came out in 2008 and was followed by JellyCar 2 & 3. Those latter titles were published by Disney Interactive interestingly enough, but were pulled from services in 2014 and they can no longer be downloaded.

As for JellyCar Worlds, it’ll be the franchise’s first new title in about a decade. Here’s what to expect from the game:

A new update has gone out for Beacon Pines on Switch, with the game moving up to version 1.0.5.

Today’s patch contains quality of life improvements such as the most recent save data/time appearing on the pause screen. A number of bug fixes are also included.

Limited Run Games unveiled yet another Switch physical release today, with Aztech Forgotten Gods now receiving the boxed treatment. This will be offered through its distribution line.

WrestleQuest is one step closer to launch, as the title now has a release month. Publisher Skybound Games and developer Mega Cat Studios confirmed today that it will drop in May 2023.
