It’s time for the latest North American Nintendo Download report for the week of May 26, 2022. The latest releases include Kao the Kangaroo, The Big Con: Grift of the Year Edition, and more.
Here’s the full lineup:
EleMetals: Death Metal Death Match, which was announced for Switch earlier this month, has secured a release date. RedDeerGames and Wallride have confirmed that the title will be out on June 3, 2022.
In case you missed our previous coverage, here’s some information about the multiplayer platformer:
SimCopter debuted in 1996 for PC, but some may be unaware that an N64 version (for the 64DD) was in the works at one point – aptly titled SimCopter 64. The game was even shown off for Nintendo’s older console at E3 1997, though it ultimately never saw the light of day. Fans apparently weren’t impressed with the graphics, and after some consideration was given to a Japan-only launch, the port was cancelled entirely.
It’s been well over twenty years, but amazingly enough, a playable build has been found of SimCopter 64. Reddit user a707northbayer made the discovery and says he picked it up from someone who worked in the game industry. This person sold and traded him dev systems in addition to a few games like this one.
Pokemon Masters EX has just received its usual monthly update, bringing the title to version 2.21.0. This update is improving the tutorial and certain specific game features, addressing a few bugs and issues, and prepping the game for its next set of content updates (notably, the addition of Sygna Suit Ethan & Lugia, Lyra & Celebi, and Kris & Suicune).

Original (5/9): Ubisoft and Capcom have revealed that they’re working together once more as a second round of their Brawlhalla partnership has been announced, known as the Street Fighter Part II Epic Crossover Event.
Brawlhalla is set to add another five characters from Street Fighter later this month. Additionally, fans can look forward to a new Street Brawl map inspired by “Bustling Side Street” from Street Fighter V.
Pac-Man Museum+ has started to release, and Bandai Namco is celebrating the game’s arrival with a new launch trailer.
As a reminder, the collection includes fourteen different titles. You can find some additional information about the release below.
2Bad Games has announced that it will release its action survivor horror game Broken Mind on Switch next month. The game is slated for June 21, 2022.
Here’s an overview with further details, as provided by 2Bad Games:
Original (5/23): Thanks to retailer listings, Trinity Trigger has been revealed that FuRyu teased for Switch last week. It was first announced as “PROJECT-TRITRI“.
Those listings were published by Biccamera, though they have since been removed. Twitter user Renka_schedule managed to save the information and screenshots.
Original: Following a previous leak from the ESRB, Them’s Fightin’ Herds has been officially confirmed for Switch. Publisher Modus Games and developer Mane6 announced today that the title will be available this fall as both a physical and digital release.
Also revealed is that more content is planned for the game. With the Season 1 Pass, players will be able to get their hands on four brand-new DLC fighters, stages, and cosmetics. This will be included in the Deluxe Edition or as a separate digital upgrade.
