A physical version of Rainbow Billy: The Curse of the Leviathan is planned, according to retailer listings. Places such as GameStop have it down for May 31, 2022. That could be a tentative date, but the main takeaway here is that the title will have a general launch at retailers.

Rainbow Billy: The Curse of the Leviathan has thus far been digital-only on Switch. Since its debut back in October, it’s only been offered via the eShop.

Sonka announced today that it’s putting Farm Tycoon on Switch. The game will be available digitally on May 27, 2022.

Farm Tycoon is described as a simulation game in which players build, produce, and control a farm. Sonka says it “took us three years to bring it to its current level with our own 2XD RENDERING technology, developed specifically for optimal Nintendo Switch experience.”

Niantic has shared details about a new Water Festival event for Pokemon GO taking place later this week featuring the introductions of Dewpider and Araquanid. On top of that, Shiny Binacle and Lapras wearing a scarf will be available.

Squish delayed to June

Squish, an upcoming co-op party game for Switch, has been delayed.

The title was recently given a May 31 release date by publisher PM Studios and developer Grave Rave Games. Now, however, it will be releasing on June 28.

Nintendo’s drip feed of Splatoon 3 news continues, and the Big N has now provided a look at the game’s “charger” weapons.

These weapons, which build up power, can be used by pressing and holding ZR. You’ll then perform a powerful shot that can hit targets that are far away.

This week’s UK software sales are in, with Nintendo Switch Sports again topping the charts. The game came in first even though it saw a 32% drop in boxed sales week-on-week.

It’s worth noting that some Switch games rose due to some retail sales. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe moved to #4 after a 3 percent sales increase and Kirby and the Forgotten Land ended up at #5 thanks to a 19 percent jump.

Publisher Rokaplay and developer Alchemist Interactive are back with a new trailer for Spells & Secrets, which shows off the game’s co-op mode. This comes as the project’s Kickstarter campaign is coming to its conclusion. It’s already 450 percent funded, and a Switch version has been confirmed.

The latest update for Fire Emblem Heroes has arrived, with Nintendo and Intelligent Systems offering version 6.5.0. It includes changes for The Arena, Summoner Duels, Skills for a Mythic Hero, and Heroes Journey. The lineup of limited-time combat manuals have also been updated, and there are new weapon skills and weapons to refine.
