Nintendo has updated the Japanese release schedule on its platforms for the week of January 6, 2022. Here’s a look at the upcoming digital download schedule:

2022 may continue to bring about supply issues for Switch consoles, Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa said this week. This comes amid the usual reasons of semiconductors and logistical issues that we’ve been seeing not just across the gaming industry, but the larger technology field.

Furukawa did say that Nintendo’s end of 2021 sales were good, and the Switch OLED model contributed to that strong performance. However, Black Friday saw its fair share of issues. Nintendo used air transportation to help with demand and in Europe the company used rail transportation for the first time.

Following last week’s leak, the LEGO Group has set a release date for the new LEGO Ideas Sonic the Hedgehog Green Hill Zone set, which was conceived by 24-year-old, UK based LEGO superfan Viv Grannell through the LEGO Ideas platform. Fans will be able to pick up the product starting on January 1, 2022.

LEGO Ideas Sonic the Hedgehog Green Hill Zone has 1,125 pieces, including five minifigures. It features an updated version of Sonic, Crabmeat, Moto Bug, Dr. Eggman, and the Phantom Ruby. Buyers will also receive ten boxes of golden-colored Rings and a Technic lever to spring Sonic and friends into the air. Additionally, you can earn a gem reward as you build the set.

With 2021 coming to a close, Nintendo has revealed the top 30 best-selling games on the Japanese Switch eShop for the year.

It’s Monster Hunter Rise that managed to take the top spot. Among Us was a hit as well, as the game is right behind at #2. The recently-released Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl come in at #3 and #5 respectively.

Noel the Mortal Fate now has a release date on Switch. The game will launch on February 10, 2022, Playism, Vaka Game Magazine, and Kawano announced today.

Playism has confirmed that Noel the Mortal Fate will have upgraded elements when it comes to Switch like new illustrations. Fans can also look forward to a new Season 3.5 story.

Here are today’s updates for Fire Emblem Heroes:

  • Captain Skills for this week’s Summoner Duels are Earth Rendering, Adroit Captain, and Secret Maneuver! Bonus titles for Resonant Battles are Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones and Fire Emblem Heroes. Allegiance Battles will be held this week.
  • Sharena added more Hero intros to Meet Some of the Heroes! This time, Dagr: New Year Jötnar, Reginn: Bearing Dawn, Fáfnir: Fresh Ambition, Kyza: Tiger of Fortune, and Lyre: Lap Cat of Luxury have been added.
  • A new Tempest Trials+ event, Togetherness, will begin Dec. 31, 11 PM PT. Clear event maps to earn rewards such as 4-Star or 5-Star Special Hero Kyza: Tiger of Fortune and two different Sacred Seals: Atk Opening 1 and Fury 1!
  • Check out the bonus allies for the Tempest Trials+: Togetherness event! Bonus allies get increased HP and stats and earn double experience and SP in battle—and they grant you a score bonus! It’s the perfect time to build up these Heroes!
  • Summoning Focus: Tempest Trials+ is here! Ranulf: Friend of Nations, Lethe: Gallia’s Valkyrie, and Mordecai: Kindhearted Tiger are featured as part of a 5-Star summoning focus. Your first summon in this event won’t cost any Orbs!

Here are the latest events in Dragalia Lost, including a new raid event:

  • The schedule for Trials of the Mighty in late December and January has been announced. Take on bosses with a team of predetermined elements and weapon types to earn rewards!
  • Thor’s Trial, Grimnir’s Trial, and Nidhogg’s Trial become available in Trials of the Mighty in #DragaliaLost on Dec. 28, 10 PM PT. Use teams of specific adventurers to earn materials for unlocking mana spirals from the daily bonus.
  • We will address inquiries received between Dec. 28, 7 AM PT, and Jan. 3, 6:59 AM PT, as soon as we are able. Depending on the content of the inquiries, replies may not be sent until Jan. 3, 5 PM PT, or later. Thank you for your understanding.

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have announced a new Like Clockwork summoning event for Fire Emblem Heroes, which features special Heroes who have donned elegant kimonos. The 5-star Hero Kyza: Tiger of Fortune will also appear as a Score Reward in the next Tempest Trials+ event.

Like Clockwork features Reginn: Bearing Dawn (voiced by Megan Shipman, art by 8ichibi8), Fafnir: Fresh Ambition (voiced by Griffin Puatu, art by Niji Hayashi), Lyre: Lap Cat of Luxury (voiced by Kelly Baskin, art by kaya8), and Dagr: New Year Jotnar as a duo (voiced by Alejandra Evette + Erika Harlacher, art by cuboon). Reginn has the skills
Nioavellir Lots, Seior Shell, Swift Sparrow 3, and Cross Spur Atk. Fafnir can use Nioavellir Sprig, Glimmer, Atk/Spd Solo 4, Disarm Trap 3, and Rouse Atk/Def 4. As for Lyre, the available skills include Sparkling Fang, Luna, Atk/Spd Catch 3, and Chill Atk/Def 2. Finally, Dagr’s lineup is Jotnar Bow, Luna, Atk/Spd Push 4, Sun-Twin Wing, Atk/Def Rein 3.
