Publisher Humble Games and developer Studio Floris have provided an update on the Switch version of Next Space Rebels, confirming that it has been delayed to 2022.
This news is a bit unfortunate, as we had only just heard a few days ago that the simulation game would be out next week. While that’s true for most platforms, the Switch version has been pushed back. Only Nintendo’s console has been impacted by the delay.
If you happened to miss our coverage last week, we’ve included some information about the game below.

DEEEER Simulator: Your Average Everyday Deer Game won’t be a digital only title on Switch, as a physical version is happening – in Japan at least.
The slow-life town destruction game was first confirmed for Nintendo’s console back in August. While it appears to be a digital only title in most regions (at least for now anyway), the Japanese physical edition will work in all regions. It supports English, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean language options. Fans will be able to import the game and play it on their Switch system regardless of origin since the console is region free.

HORI has revealed a new attachment for its Switch Split Pad Pro accessory that will make it possible to use the device as a wired controller for TV mode.
Up until now, the Split Pad Pro has only been compatible in handheld mode. A few different designs have been released, including Daemon X Machina, Pac-Man, Pokemon, and Monster Hunter. Nintendo of America president Doug Bowser again spoke about Joy-Con drift as part of an interview published by The Verge this week. Speaking with the site, he said:
