Super Nintendo World isn’t just about rides, as there are other elements such as wrist bands. All attendees will receive one when they enter the theme park, and some special functionality is included.

According to GamesIndustry, these wrist bands interact with the smartphone app and can be used to collect coins and character stamps. They can also be used to complete “key challenges” that will lead to working together with other attendees in boss battles. Unfortunately, we don’t have any other specifics currently.

The roguelike twin-stick shooter I, Dracula: Genesis Moregames is in the works for Switch, developer Moregames has announced. It’s expected to launch on Switch sometime after its appearance on Steam Early Access.

Streets of Rage 4 is getting a physical release thanks to Limited Run Games. Announced on their official Twitter page, Limited Run says that the upcoming game will be added to their collection and to stay tuned for more details. Check out the full tweet below.
 

Streets of Rage 4 is releasing on Switch sometime in 2020.

Deadleaf Games has announced that Nom Nom Apocalypse, a “top-down roguelite shooter set in a post-apocalyptic city plagued by mutant food monstrosities”, is coming to Switch. It’ll launch on Nintendo’s platform later in 2020.

Super Nintendo World is debuting with a whole lot of Mario. When the first park opens in Japan this summer, the different rides and the entire land is based around the character’s IP.

The good news is that things may not stay that way. IGN asked Universal Japan Studio’s marketing head Ayumu Yamamoto if fans can look forward to attractions, shops or even restaurants themed after other Nintendo franchises. While there’s nothing planned immediately, Yamamoto said the company is “thinking about expanding to Nintendo’s other IPs after opening.”

SpeedRunners, a well-received competitive platformer, was announced to be coming to Switch last August. An eShop listing now reveals that it will launch on Nintendo’s console next week.
