Square Enix filed a Japanese trademark for Collection of Mana earlier this year. Based on that listing, many fans had hoped that the Switch package would finally be localized for the west. There’s now even more evidence of that possibility.
Today, Square Enix picked up another trademark for Collection of Mana. The filing was done this time around in Europe. With E3 2019 right around the corner, perhaps there could finally be news for the west.
Seiken Densetsu Collection first came out in Japan two years ago. It includes Final Fantasy Adventure, Secret of Mana, and Seiken Densestu 3, the latter of which has never made it outside of Japan.

Earlier this year, Skybound Games and Beamdog announced several classic Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing games for Switch. The two sides provided an update today.
Baldur’s Gate, the Baldur’s Gate: Siege of Dragonspear expansion, Baldur’s Gate II, Planescape: Torment, Icewind Dale, and Neverwinter Nights are due out this fall. Physical editions of Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition will arrive at retailers on December 3 in North America and December 6 in other territories. The other titles will release earlier on September 24 in North America and September 27 in other territories.
Dying Light developer Techland has yet to release a game on Switch. However, that could be changing later in 2019. During an interview with Wccftech, chief technical officer Pawel Rohleder teased that the company “might have a surprise for the Nintendo Switch later this year.”
For what it’s worth, Polish website Graczpospolita claims that the game in question is Call of Juarez: Gunslinger. Ubisoft published the first-person shooter in 2013, but Techland gained the rights to the title it created last year.
