Earlier today, Square Enix hosted a stage show The World Ends with You: Final Remix at The Tokyo Game Show. Aside from discussion about the new Switch version, original producer and character designer Tetsuya Nomura passed along a message about the IP’s future.

First up, some tidbits on the additional “A New Day” scenario:

This weekend, a new Splatfest was held in both North America and Europe. It’s the first event featuring major changes to Splatfests.

As for the latest topic, “Retro” and “Modern” teams battled it out. Nintendo has now posted the full results in-game, which we have below.

The recently-announced platformer Jack N’ Jill DX has received a release date. It’s due out on September 28 via the eShop, Ratalakia announced today.

Although the Skylanders franchise has been more quiet as of late in terms of gaming, the Netflix show is continuing on. In fact, a trailer released this week for Skylanders Academy Season 3, which we have below.

Crash Bandicoot will be appearing once again, and fans have paid attention to something in particular. For the first time, Crash’s sister Coco Bandicoot will be on the show.

The third season of Skylanders Academy debuts on September 28.

We’ve seen a number of new videos for Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition this week, and another one has now arrived showing direct-feed gameplay. View 7 minutes of footage below.

Nintendo’s website shows that Demon’s Crystals is making its way to Switch next week. BadLand Games will be publishing the twin stick shooter, which was originally developed by Byte4Games.

Mario Tennis Aces received a big update this week. Version 2.0.0 added the Co-op Challenge, support for the Switch Online app, and new Ruins of Trials in Adventure Mode.
