Last night, Nintendo teased that a new update would be distributed for ARMS today. Version 5.2.0 is now live for all players.

Today’s update adds in a few new things. The primary highlights include the ability to use “Big Time ARMS” from the Party Crash mode in regular battle, as well as the addition of new Gallery images.

Boomerang Games has been looking to fund its new project The Seashore via Kickstarter. After reaching its target, the game has now been confirmed for Switch.

The Seashore is an action game that also mixes in RPG and Metroidvania elements. We have more details and a trailer below.

In what is becoming an almost weekly restock at this point, GameStop has the SNES Classic Edition in stock again. You can order a system here. Fortunately, this has been much easier to secure compared to the NES Classic, which will be offered again at some point this year.

Thanks to IGN, we have a new look at the Detective Pikachu amiibo. You can view a few photos below, including a few comparisons to the original Pikachu figure.

The Detective Pikachu amiibo is significantly larger at nearly twice the size. In the actual game, it can immediately unlock cutscenes which reveal “a combination of hilarious content that might also provide a hint.”
